2 hotels next to each other but still with ample parking to accommodate. Very comfortable bed and a good shower, No outside noise disturbance despite being very close to the car park. Spacious room

Been to this hotel twice in July , whilst it is clean, and staff are very pleasant to deal with, but the beds were too soft, both time woke up with a sore lower back, and a stiff neck, could do with firmer mattresses. Had dinner at hotel on second stay, just wanted water with dinner, served straight from tap, very warm day, water just as warm, they should chill some in fridge prior to opening the restaurant.

Shabby bedrooms, poorly designed bathroom meant shower screen made access to the bath difficult. Poor soundproofing to adjacent rooms and corridor. Area around was like a ghost town ( hotel next door boarded up) possibly due to a refugee camp being only 2-3 miles away? I would not stay again.

We were travelling by bicycle and we were able to leave our bicycles locked in reception which is manned 24/7. Very happy with our stay, clean comfortable room, great breakfast, very close to the ferry, would stay again

Very convenient for car ferry. Ample parking. Felt very sorry for the manager who was receptionist/barman/chef and waiter all in one as he was only member of staff on. Only pizzas available in the restaurant as it was a Sunday. A billing issue did occur, probably as the manager was doing too many things at once so can't be blamed for that.

Delighted to find we'd been allocated a ground floor room with mobility access even though it had not been put on booking form it was deffinitely very much appreciated!
The only real negative commemt would be that only 1 teabag was included in the tea making facilities- this seems to be rather too common now.
The hotel was close to the ferry port but still quiet. It then gave us easy access to the motorway to continue our journey.
