Château d'Auteuil

Cannot fault our stay. My husband and I stayed over the weekend- arrived late Friday and went back Sunday. I’m gluten free and initially we were planning to take a train (recommend you hire a car). We called the hosts a few times and in every phone call they were so helpful. They said they would take care of breakfast so I had options. They also suggested to rent a car and even sent a text about it before we checked in, which was helpful. Even if we took the train they offered to pick us up. From the moment we arrived, the hostesses was so friendly. She waited up on Friday and showed us around. She also set the table for us as we had brought some dinner, which was a lovely gesture. The room was spacious, with everything we needed. The next day, breakfast was set on the table for us. The food was lovely- gluten free bread was very high quality. I also have severe asthma so wear a mask to protect myself. She was extremely understanding and suggested the next day, when more guests arrived, to place us in a separate dining room, which was very kind. On that day she was also very helpful with ideas of where to go. Chantily, Sanlice were nearby and we spent the day there and then got dinner in Beauvais. On the last day we had a tour of the Chateau. It was evident that they had so much passion and the rooms were decorated so beautifully. Such a lovely and personable experience. I’d recommend to anyone who needs a break away from Paris. Incredibly passionate hosts who are super understanding too!

We spent one night here to break the journey further south in France. It is a beautiful and restful place surrounded by fields and forest. We had a very comfortable and quiet stay in one of the rooms and had an excellent breakfast in the morning. Pol and Sabine are excellent hosts and Pol gave a tour in the morning of the chateau which the family have lovingly restored over many years. If you are interested in restoration and French style and furniture, this really is the 'piece de resistance' of the stay. Highly recommended.

I recently had the joy and privilege of staying at Château d'Auteuil. It was a magical stay and the only bad thing was that my friend and I could only stay for one night. We loved our time there, appreciating the warmth and hospitality of Pol and Sabine and the exquisite attention to detail and pure beauty of the place. Sabine graciously gave us a wonderful tour sharing about the art history and detail of the château. It is truly a gem and I look forward to being able to return in the future. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a nice countryside getaway not too far from Paris. You will not regret it!

We enjoyed three nights at the Chateau que Pol i Sabina, which has been renovated with great enthusiasm over the years and the result has been incredible where you can enjoy all its beauty. The room is very comfortable and with a special decoration. Breakfast is complete and enjoying beautiful views. I advise you to take a walk around the Chateau to contemplate all its nature with centuries-old trees.
