Colivault

Colivault is simply a magical place. While the Loire Valley provides many beautiful spots to visit, I would return here simply to recharge from daily life. Richard, the host, made our visit so wonderful and welcoming. He shares his life (to the extent that the guest is receptive) and his home. Truly, I felt like I was with family for the four blissful days we spent here. The pool is amazing. The breakfasts sumptuous, and the evening apéro gave us a chance to meet other guests and enjoy the beautiful grounds. I will add that it's a perfectly central location for visiting the chateaux as well as being near plenty of lovely restaurants. Richard will make dinner reservations for you!

Spent 3 nights at this gorgeous bed and breakfast and we couldn’t recommend it enough. The room was fabulous, the location was very convenient, it’s a beautiful area surrounded by quaint villages, and so on. The garden and property at Colivault are lovely, the staff (Richard and Sophie) were very helpful with making recommendations and even reservations for us at different restaurants. I’m looking forward to coming here again soon.

What an absolute gem of a find this gorgeous B&B was. The accommodation itself is fabulous … elegant, stylish and refined whilst remaining welcoming and comfortable.. in fact it was the most comfortable bed ever. Richard and Sophie went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable for all the right reasons. The venue, the breakfasts, the hosts, the location were all outstanding. I can’t recommend Colivault high enough. Thank you Richard for everything… every single one of us had a wonderful time. We’ll be back.

My friend and I stayed at Colivault for 2 days in November. From the moment we arrived, Richard and his daughters treated us like family! We were able to see their baby horse reunite with the mom (incredible), and they helped us with recommendations for the area. The house itself is in superb condition, every detail is perfect. I loved walking through the garden, visiting the horses, playing with the dogs, and seeing their sweet donkey. 💗 The breakfast was delicious. You can feel their passion for sharing this amazing place with guests. Thank you again for everything, and I look forward to hopefully visiting this “home away from home” soon! 💗💗

A wonderful place to stay while visiting the Loire Valley! The owners are amazing people and really make you feel 'right at home' in their amazing home! My friends and I all highly recommend Colivault !
