Had an unexpected layover with a vanvelled flight, and was very happy with my choice. Spacious rooms, full bathroom, hot shower with good pressure, and 12pm checkout. Very clean and warm duvets. Great location, few mins to Gare du Nord and staff were lovely!

I am a room attendant/ housekeeping for 5years in a 4star hotel in the Philippines. And I stayed for two nights in Hotel Altona and it is so amazing. The room is clean , also the bathroom. everything is perfect! And when I plan to visit in Paris again I will definitely make a reservations here in Hotel Altona. :) Overall had a great stay!
PS: Staffs are also friendly

Best price in the area when we booked, and it's a great area. 10 minute walk from Gare du Nord. Breakfast is great value if you have to get out before the boulangeries open. Front desk folks were great.

Property is situated in close proximity to public transport, rooms are clean, staff is friendly & responsive.
Would have preferred room with Patio as advertised on Expedia, however received room with window facing back of property which is clustered and not much of natural air. Shower space was quite cramped, making it very uncomfortable for normal sized person. Breakfast was not value for money, most of my stay they ran out of croissants by 10 and was served with dry bread which is far too much for 6 Euros.

The staff at the reception were great. They did everything they could to get me into a room quickly after my long flight. This hotel is no frills but is located perfectly if you’re using the trains. It is easy walking down to the Seine with lots of restaurants and shops . I will stay there again

Good place to stay if catching the Eurostar to London as it is just a short walk from the station. Comfortable and clean and jug with tea,coffee,sugar and milk provided. However the power did go off in the morning just before I was leaving so don’t know what the problem was.But because no power I had to carry my bag down 2 lots of stairs because couldn’t use the lift.

Gabriel and his family, Les Oncles!, are as accommodating as can be. Rooms are cleaned and stocked daily. 24/7 desk, petit dejeuner available for a low cost. This is a simple clean friendly hotel minutes away from Sacre Coeur in Montmartre. Metro ride down the street as is a welcoming cafe and great boulangerie on the corner. This is a working neighborhood with small shops and tourist hotels close to Gare du Nord and Gare de L'est

My partner and I had a very nice stay for 5 days. The room was modest but clean and we had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was very close to metro stations and lovely independent coffee shops and places to eat.

Late arrival smooth check-in after getting off the Eurostar at midnight.
I was a bit disappointed to be assigned a room on the 6th floor upon check-in, however...
The room ended up being perfect for me. Loved its configuration, plus it was warm and clean.
The mattress was firm just how I like them. Let's not forget the impeccable cleanliness of the bathroom.
Nice 2 star hotel to book if need to stay in the Gare du Nord area and you travel on a budget.
I'd definitely book again in the future.

The front desk staff was great. They were all very helpful and kind.
The cleaning staff didn't have much consistency with their
supplies for the room. Some days we had the proper towels, etc. and some days we didn't. Some days we were provided bottled water and some days not. The bed didn't have a top sheet, just the comforter. This may be standard for this hotel but seems odd.
