Hotel des Vosges, BW Premier Collection

Great location next to main train station, very convenient for day trips to many cities. Room and hotel services and staff are excellent.

It’s the little things that do count. At arrival we got to check in an hour early (great) but did not feel the bathroom had been cleaned. Laundry bag with dirty towels was sitting right outside our room for 2 days with no one thinking it should be moved. After first day we had the room cleaned but staff did not think to refill toilet paper or tissue box that was already empty when we arrived. Breakfast at hotel was great but dinner at the hotel restaurant was nothing worth writing home about. Standard burger or fish and chips as the most interesting choices. Will look elsewhere if we come back one day.

Tidy hotel, almost opposite the station. Quiet, front facing room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Easy walking distance to L'ill.

Very convenient location near by train station and walkable everywhere. The music lound on the weekend untill 2am. It doesn't bother us. We will stay here again.

The room was American-sized, big enough for a small sofa, and very quiet. There was a good buffet in the morning. There were also a couple of dining options and a bar. We walked almost everywhere, but when we did need a cab, the hotel staff was there to help in English if needed. A doorman opens the door as you come in, and as you leave, they speak good enough English that you won’t feel stranded. I would absolutely stay again, and we plan to do so next year.

One of several similar-looking hotels right across from the main train station. While the immediate blocks nearby leave a bit to be desired in terms of restaurant quality, the onsite spot was surprisingly good it is a short walk into central Strasbourg. Our room was a bit cramped and lacked some basics like coffee service or adequate shelving, but adequate for a short stay. The real value for us was that upon arrival we had just had a suitcase stolen on the train from Colmar (keep your bags within sight folks, and use AirTags), and the front desk staff was very kind in trying determine what authorities to contact, where to shop for replacement items, and expediting our room availability. Thank you Hotel des Vosges for making a very stressful experience a bit easier to deal with

good location and near the train station

A very pleasant hotel just by the train station and walking distance to the old town center. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Very nice breakfast buffet. Would definitely pick this hotel again upon a future return visit to Strasbourg.

Ideal for a stop over when travelling by rail. Modern, stylish and unfussy.

Train was late , so relieved that hotel was just opposite station. Everything including breakfast is good. Late check out will incur charges .

At the checkin staff were very rude and sarcastic. No concept of customer service. They didn’t clean the room properly. Only Sara at front desk was super curtious and helpful

The hotel has a perfect location across the railroad station and at walking distance to all main attractions and restaurants. Very clean and has a great brasserie or restaurant at the first floor. Staff very helpful and professional.

Short walk to train station made staying at this hotel an easy choice, particularly since we had an early train to Paris to catch. Always felt safe but there were street people around. Most of the trendier night life and shopping is about a 10 to 20 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was great—clean and spacious. Would certainly stay again

I recently had a disappointing experience at Hotel des Vosges that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. On my first night, after a long day exploring Strasbourg, I stepped into the shower and emerged ready to unwind. However, when I reached for a towel, I was appalled to find it damp and stained with a sticky yellow bodily fluid. This was a major red flag. I immediately called the front desk, only to be told that they had no large towels available—just hand towels. I had no choice but to accept this subpar option. After drying off, I climbed into bed, only to discover hairs and brown/red stains on the linens. Again, I reached out to the front desk. They promised extra linens and assured me that the bed would be properly cleaned the next day. It became evident that the room had not been thoroughly cleaned between guests, which was deeply unsettling. The issues didn’t stop there. The air conditioning was either malfunctioning or nonexistent, and basic amenities like soap and paper towels were frequently not replenished. Overall, cleanliness is paramount for me, and this experience was the dirtiest I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. I cannot recommend Hotel des Vosges based on my stay. If you value a clean and comfortable environment, I suggest looking elsewhere.
