ibis Bourges

For an overnight stay it was ok probably a bit overpriced for what you get

Lovely hotel situated on the edge of the town. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Had evening meal as an extra, very nice and reasonable priced. Breakfast was included and was plentiful. Rooms are decent sized, good showers.

Great place for an overnight stay close to town center so good for spending an evening in the.town

Well its as expected for IBIS i guess. The property is in need of an exterior facelift - i thought "oh no the place is closed" looked deserted. Staff are helpful and managed a decent breakfast despite Covid

Good location near city center - easy walking distance to cathedral and other sights. Clean, comfortable room and bed. Parking is good, though hotel does not really monitor for use by non-guests. Good breakfast.

The staff were very helpful and its location within easy walking distance of the centre of Brouges was a real bonus

Stayed at this hotel on our way back from the Languedoc region. Bourges is a lovely city with beautiful old buildings and cathedral, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at this hotel for dinner, but did have breakfast here the next morning, which was very nice as always.

After a previous bad experience at another Ibis hotel we were a bit apprehensive but needn’t have been. Location ideal to walk into Centre of Bourges. Hotel is as pictured on website, when we checked in the gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and air conditioning worked!

Easy check-in and ease of entry with doors on both side of the building so you don't have to walk too far with your luggage. Nice quick check-in process. Elevator to get to room. Nice café/bistrot area to grab a bite or drink. Negatives: Room was very small, dated, and a bit in disrepair. 1. The thermostat did not work so the room was very hot at night which made it difficult to sleep. Though we could see an Air Vent and thermostat dial in the room, the AC would not turn on and there was no air. 2. Shower water would randomly become extremely hot (not related to toilet flushing or sink running in our room, maybe in the neighboring rooms though?) 3. Shower head holder was broken so I had to hold the shower head the entire time which made it difficult to wash. No tub.

As expected from Ibis - pleasant staff, clean room, comfortable bed, quiet and parking too.

Good location with parking close to the town centre

Although most were friendly none could speak any English so although we tried our French there was difficulty understanding which we thought strange when adverts were in English!!

Fairly basic hotel, but with reasonable room - even if somewhat on the small size. Breakfast comprehensive with pleasant food and staff all very helpful and attentive. Easy access on foot to old town and Cathedral/Museums. Sadly, the light show around town is not on display until summer months, but still many interesting streets and buildings to visit.

Staff were very helpful. Lots of parking. Breakfast was excellent quality.
