I had booked this hotel for the Olympics and something came up over a month before my scheduled reservation and I had to cancel. They charged me over $600 even though it was a month before the reservation. They are the biggest crooks in Paris and I would never ever stay there. Most hotels if you cancel within a couple weeks they give you your full refund this place kept over $600. Companies like this give all other hotels a bad name. How do I get my information to you?

This stay cannot be rated according to the criteria expected of a hotel, as it is not a hotel. This is a homestay in an old villa, where the owner rents free rooms (5 rooms) to tourists - in other parts of the world such are called Bed & Breakfast. If you expect hotel service and amenities, you may be disappointed. We chose this place because we were looking for a place to stay with an outdoor pool as close as possible to Château de Chantilly. Unfortunately, as an irony of fate, we were not lucky with the weather and did not go sunbathing in the pool area. Friendly family. Quiet place. A house with a cozy overall impression, but rather tired condition, as such old houses often have. Of course, those creaky floors and other woes of the old house and the old interior have their own charm for those who enjoy it. There is a glass house in the yard with a barrel pool with hot water - probably very nice in the cold season. The pool is heated, but the water was a bit cloudy. There were no curtains on the windows in our room and since we are not used to sleeping in the white (it gets white early in the morning), it was a bit uncomfortable. NB! It was only in the morning that I discovered that we had hatches on the outside of the windows, but they were not visible from the room and no information was given about it (apparently it was taken for granted that you should know it). The room on the top floor had more or less OK speed WiFi, but there was no WiFi coverage on the lower floor. Breakfast is served at a large common table, but you can also dine outside. Breakfast includes croissants, jam, cereal and fruit. We are not used to eating such products for breakfast, but luckily the host agreed to make scrambled eggs for us and also brought cheese. The bedding was a bit rough and had a damp smell. Booking.com has misleading information about the availability of a restaurant at the property - there is no restaurant there. However, some places to eat are about a 10-minute walk away. I didn't see the beauty and health centre mentioned on Booking.com either, but maybe I should have asked for it separately.

Loved it! Better than a really modern hotel. Our rooms decoration, Valentine, was based on vintage Scandinavian style. Food locale and tasty.
