What a place! if I could give 6 stars I would. Beautifully maintained old manor set in lovely grounds with magnificent trees. Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with ancient beams, antique furniture and comfy beds. Only a stone's throw from the centre of Amboise. Charming hosts who speak excellent English. There's even a little kitchen for the guests. Can't wait to go back!

This is a delightful B&B in every way. The owner was pleasant and a great source of travel guidance. The facility, grounds and rooms are charming, very relaxing and comfortable. Its location is great for seeing the amazing chateaus and sites in the Loire Valley. The village of Amboise is also a fun place to hang out, eat and drink wine! We would definitely come back here.

My stay at this place was truly wonderful! The surroundings were incredibly beautiful, and our room was exceptionally clean and tidy. We opted for one of their triple rooms, and it was surprisingly spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The host, a delightful lady, was extremely friendly and helpful. She offered us valuable tips for exploring Amboise, which greatly enhanced our visit. Breakfast was a delight, featuring lovely homemade jam and fresh bread. While it may not have been an extravagant spread, the simplicity and deliciousness of the food more than made up for it. One aspect I truly appreciated about this place is that it's not your typical big corporate hotel. By choosing to stay here, you are supporting a small family business, and that adds a special touch to the experience. All in all, I highly recommend this charming chateau for anyone visiting Amboise. The combination of a beautiful setting, warm hospitality, and a taste of homemade goodness makes it a memorable and unique stay.

My husband and I spent a lovely few days at the Manoir last week. The property is in a delightful setting on the edge of Amboise but within a short walk of the town. Our room (queen size) was located at the top of a spiral staircase and was very large, airy, cool, bearing in mind we arrived in August and spotlessly clean. Our host Annick made us very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast consisting of a selection of breads and homemade jams. She was also very supportive when I was taken unwell. Although my husband was not keen on the antique furniture (we differ in our tastes here) I cannot fault our experience. Yvette

Beautiful and peaceful place only a few minutes away from town. The room was very spacious and the service was excellent. The hostess, Annick, was incredibly nice and delightful to talk to. As a bonus, there are a couple of friendly dogs and cats around the property, plus horses and 2 llamas that show themselves occasionally. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
