Mondrian Cannes

Aside from one rude attendant. The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. Exterior entry’s and lobby very clean. The exterior of the building may require a facelift. It’s showing its age. Location was good. The beach restaurant doesn’t look like the photographs and charge for day beds even if you are staying at the hotel.

We had a very nice, clean, spacious room with an XL super comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel has its own beach / restaurant right on the other side of the boulevard. The service that staff provided was superb from day one until we got our Uber to go to the airport. Another plus, the Voss bottles, juices and couple of snacks in the room bar were complimentary. We’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is great and service was wonderful except for the front desk manager who just kept mentioning that everything in France is different. The hotel does not have access to the beach. It does not OWN a private beach. It has an agreement with a private beach

Customer service at the hotel was notably lacking. Upon our arrival, a woman at the reception desk did not acknowledge our presence. We later discovered she wasn’t a receptionist, but her lack of a simple greeting set a poor tone for our stay. Throughout our time there, we were struck by the general rudeness of the staff; not once did anyone say hello as we entered or exited the hotel. Our room, for which we paid 800 euros per night, boasted a view of the Croisette, which was undoubtedly beautiful. However, the room had significant drawbacks. The bathroom was equipped only with a bathtub and a handheld showerhead. This setup required us to hold the showerhead with one hand while soaping with the other, and washing hair necessitated sitting in the tub—a highly uncomfortable and potentially dangerous arrangement. This "feature" was never disclosed to us at the time of booking, which we found both unprofessional and disappointing. Additionally, the magnified mirror in the bathroom was broken, further contributing to our dissatisfaction. When seeking dining recommendations from the concierge, we were directed to an extremely touristy restaurant where the food was so subpar that we couldn't even finish our appetizers. This indicated either a lack of knowledge or disregard for guests. The lack of basic courtesy from the staff and the subpar room amenities significantly marred our experience. Given the high price point we expected a more accommodating stay.

I wish we knew before we booked that there will close there beach club for the festival before we booked our room

The hotel and the room itself were beautiful and clean. The hotel is perfectly located. Near the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Hotel was amazing. Didn’t realise in advance it would cost between £40-£60pp to enjoy the private beach, but beach was one the best we have been to. Hotel recommended great places to eat and celebrated our special occasions well. Restaurant was lovely with great, diverse selection of food. Staff were really friendly and made our stay special. The Mondrian was very comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned every day, and staff accommodated every request. The hotel is in a prime location for beach clubs, restaurants, and both luxury and ordinary shopping. I highly recommend staying here!

It was great

The property was great very clean. We would highly recommend it to anybody very well located your shopping food and the beach clubs. Staff was incredibly nice always to our need.
