If you would like to stay in Vauban, this hotel is excellently located and well appointed. The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable. The employees are all very friendly and accommodating.
I did miss a coffee / tea maker in the room. You can get coffee and tea at the reception downstairs (for a nominal cost) but more independence with that first or last cup of the day would have been welcome.

Parking and breakfast came as an extra at respectively 9 and 18 euro per day. Would have preferred an all in price when booking the accommodation. Apart from this were very satisfied with this hotel and its personnel.

Der hohe Stellenwert der Ökologie und der Inklusion hat mir sehr gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, aber deutlich zu teuer. Die Lage in einem tollen Stadtteil mit sehr gutem Anschluss ab den ÖPNV ist super!

This hotel is great for a city break, rooms very spacious and clean. Parking was not directly on the hotel site, but just over the road and pretty secure.
It’s a shame it does not have a restaurant within the hotel, it means you have to go back into Freiburg every time you want a meal, which was sometimes an effort when you’ve been out site seeing all day. The tram line is right outside the hotel which is perfect for getting straight into the city, Freiburg itself is a fabulous city. We had breakfast on the first morning, and although it was good, it was really expensive per head. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
