Hotel Astoria

Outstanding value for money. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children, and it turned out that a family room consists of 2 double rooms with a door between them. That means 2 bath rooms, 2 big single beds, 2 of everything. So much space. Outstanding! If you as a family need to go somewhere, go to Astoria in Göttingen!

Perfekt hotel for.one night on the way. Not so beautiful area but nearby some restaurants. Good price. Good breakfast with gluten free options. Very warm in the rooms (we slept with open window in February).

Recommended as a stop over if you are driving through. Breakfast is nice . Rooms are old and if you face the road you may be disturbed by the noise on the road. The bathrooms are nice and clean . It was a warm day when we were there and the room got really stuffy . We had to keep the windows totally open . It got really loud at night due to vehicles passing by . Thankfully we were so tired, we slept well.

Hi, we had a night at the hotel during our trip between France and Danemark. It's a great place to stay. Staff is friendly and breakfast perfect to start our journey early.

The hotel Astoria is located in an industrial part of Göttingen. The rooms are clean and the shower was actually quite modern. But the curtains are very thin and due to the bright lights of commercials signs around it's never dark enough for having a good night. Also it's very loud and too warm in the rooms. The food buffet offers a huge variety but it's not really good. The Sauna is not included and is not worth the 9,- €.
