LOVED this property! It was outstanding. It was a little hot, and GPS didn't like finding it (ended up using just the map), but it was worth it. Beautiful views, including of the Wartburg and great walking trails. Great staff, good food, and a royal experience.

Schönes klassisches Hotel in sehr guter Lage zum Wandern und für Besuche auf der Wartburg. Toller Ausblick von der Terasse auf Burg und den Thüringer Wald.
Service etc. war top. Einzig die Gerichte im Restaurant sind geschmacklich nichts allzu besonderes und preislich dennoch nicht günstig.

Very quiet location with a direct sight of Warburg castle from the terrace. The hotel is reached from downtown in 10-15 minutes by foot across an area with beautiful villas. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the excellent service of the staff. Our room was rather small, but very well equipped and super clean. The Corona rules are strictly adhered to.

We arrived from a 10 hour flight, then travelling by car another 2 hours to the hotel-only t be met with staff, not flexible enough to check us in 1 hour early-although the hotel did not appear overly busy.
Our stay in August was during the heat of summer, yet the hotel has no AC (ok, not every facility is equipped with AC), but a 50 euro fan (ventilator) can be placed in each unit to accommodate the guests.
At 10pm guests are being advised to move off the large patio (a patio that provides a splendid view to the Wartburg castle-and the only reason why we selected this hotel over any other). Bar service stopped prior 10pm (acceptable), but being told to move inside is not.

We spent two nights in Eisenach. This hotel was convenient to Wartburg, which we wanted to tour. The internet was very poor in our room. The staff was somewhat underwhelming in their efforts to smooth things over for us. Likely would choose another hotel in the future, but if these issues aren't important to you, this is a nice, convenient place to stay.

Somewhat dated older institutional property located at the top of a hill above a town. Access to the room was a bit more difficult than anticipated as we had to lug suticases on a rather circuitous route to the back of the hotel complex. Overall a decent place for a one-night stay.

This is hands down the BEST Place to stay in Eisenach! The cafe terrace has a direct view of the Wartburg Castle and it is easily accessible from the trail behind the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the breakfast ample. The room was quaint and very clean. Super value too! I will stay here again in the future!

Beautiful location and very peaceful setting. Amazing view of Wartburg Castle. The room was very comfortable and attractively furnished. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Ww also enjoyed dinner there. Price was very reasonable.

I only stayed for one short evening and my experience is brief. I stayed at the hotel during a storm so slept little but that is not the hotels fault. If you like a more oldy worldy hotel then this is for you. I bet it is very nice in the summer.

It’s older which was nice. The checkin was, I thought, chilled. It was close to 90 and there was NO ac. The restaurants were closed as well. Eh, I doubt I’d stay again. We’ve been in Germany and Austria for 10 days now and this was the most disappointing of all the hotels. Gorgeous area though.
