Great place. We only stayed here 2 nights to meet up with family, it was booked on Expedia for two triple rooms. We asked for this bc we wanted bigger rooms to have extra seating. We prepaid on Expedia for the hotel and ended up receiving 2 double rooms, which are about 40.00 dollars less than the triple. We did not complain, but so when we left we asked for a refund, and they obliged us a gave it back after deducting the 7.00 a day for parking. The people here were extremely nice. The breakfast was a great spread. We would come back just for that. Honestly we are now in France and we have had at least 5 different types of coffee and haven’t had a cup of coffee as good as we had here, so we definitely miss the quality coffee there. Everything was extremely clean, the bathrooms looked like they were refinished, but our shower leaked all over the floor bc the door wasn’t closed properly, my fault, but I had no idea it would leak that much, I had to ring out a towel 5 times to get all the water up after I showered, so make sure the door is closed. The hotel is right across the street from the local train and within walking distance to Wilhelm Street, which has a variety of shops and coffee shops, anc pharmacies. There was also Denns Bio Markt a couple blocks away if you want organic groceries and a variety of things you could purchase for take home. The hotel looks pretty plain from the outside, but is very unique on the inside. It does have small elevator that worked the whole time except when we checked out, which was annoying bc we had to carry our luggage down the stairs, and mine was especially heavy. I thought the building was cool inside with all the wood. You could hear your neighbors, but we had extremely quiet, respectful neighbors and hopefully we were quiet for the others also. Honestly the breakfast and the people make this place along with cleanliness. I would one hundred percent recommend this place to stay and would definitely want to come back in the future. I think we came in contact with everyone that worked there and they were always welcoming and nice. We had nice conversations with other at breakfast which was also nice.
