Really loved the hotel and the location. The restaurant was delicious and the hotel is in an excellent location, right in the middle of everything. Really enjoyed everything and hope to be back again some day!

This was one of the best hotel experiences that I've had in my life. Helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, great location--we will be going back for sure.

We were really looking forward to giving this Hilton a 5-star review as there were many great aspects to our stay. The hotel itself is stylish, and the location is excellent—perfect for exploring the area. However, our experience was marred by an few issues with the room. Firstly, the room we were given did not appear to be the one advertised, and on top of that, there was loud noise as the water drain pipe was directly against our room (room521) before rolling down the roof to the main gutter. That made it difficult to relax before the weather got much colder and the snow stopped melting. We reported these issues to the front desk and even followed up via email after being asked for feedback on check-in, but we never received a response. Despite being told we would be contacted, no one reached out to address the problems, which was disappointing. While the hotel has a lot of potential, the lack of follow-through on customer service left us frustrated. A simple acknowledgment or resolution would have gone a long way. I hope they can address these gaps in service, as this could be a truly fantastic place to stay.

Completely met expectations

Everything is great at this hotel, decent room size, convenient location, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Big thanks to Mihaela who helped us a lot during our stay and provided useful recommendation to make our stay in Reykjavík even more enjoyable!

The room was perfect, service was phenomenal! The breakfast buffet had quite the delicious variety. I feel well-rested and nourished.

Perfectly located for central Reykjavík. Very cosy, attractive decor, good restaurant. Would certainly stay here again.

2nd stay at this property. The 1st (2 yrs ago) was much better. This was very disappointing. Tiny Room in connecting building on 5th floor. Staff didn't advise us of the noise to expect. Night club next door - not an ounce of sleep for the last 3 days of our 7 night trip. Good location in terms of city centre however we should have been told about the noise. Advised it would cost another £200 to change room to a better standard/location room when we already had a good standard room booked. No bath robes like last time. Main issue was the lack of ventilation in the room and sheer noise from nightclub which was not advised - a noised of this magnitude- customers should be informed- I cannot stress how loud the music was.. there was a speaker underneath outside the room window.. Pros- rooms cleaned every day and a dark haired lady in the restaurant was phenomenal- Floss Cocktails highly recommended. We were debating whether to book here or the Edition hotel this trip and I'm afraid to say we made the wrong choice. Next visit will be to another hotel. Overall, not a comfortable stay at all which disappointed us as this is our 2nd visit to this hotel

Property was perfectly located for walking the city. Two blocks from the ocean and right next to restaurants and shops. Close to several markets as well. We loved the hotel. Cleanliness was top rate. Only complaint was street noise Friday and Saturday night for a bit. Just request a room on the courtyard. Not really an issue for us but maybe a light sleeper. Would definitely book there again!

Room was very small, but clean. There was a smell of sulfur that was in the hotel, possibly from mineral springs in the area? Checkout staff was SUPER nice letting us have a late check out as our flight was not until later in the afternoon.

Super modern with lots of little touches. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Loved it

Didn’t like the fact that we had to use room keys to get from one area to another (eg. to go from the front desk to the restaurant, we had to go up a floor in the elevator, walk across another sitting area and down in another elevator to the restaurant. The elevator required a room key to move, even if you weren’t going to a room. Also, and this is a biggie, tips (gratuity) for the waitstaff put on our room bill went to the hotel and not to the servers/bartenders. They said they never saw any tips.

Beautiful and clean. Close to everything

The hotel was ideal all respects, from service to location (next to many dining and shopping options, all in walking distance). We parked in a public garage right opposite to the hotel. There was a nice restaurant within the hotel itself. And more importantly, there were various nice seating areas/alcoves scattered around the hotel which let the family relax after a busy day and just talk.

Our room was on the second floor looking down on the street. There was a rave club across the street that played VERY loud music until 4 or 5 in the morning. It was impossible to get any sleep because of the noise. The staff’s reply: “you know you’re staying in a busy urban area”, as if that was a reason for not being able to sleep in a hotel. The first thing the following morning we requested a new room, and per our conversation with desk staff, we repacked our bags so they could move them in the event they changed our room. The staff “made a note” in our file that we were seeking a room change. When we returned that evening, nothing had been done to get us a new room. The desk agent looked for alternatives, but very clearly told us that a move would not be made to an “upgraded” room, instead offering us a downgrade to a room with 2 twin beds. He had a serious case of indifference…take it or leave it. We elected to make the move because the new room was far enough away from the street to be much quieter. The facility itself was nice. Our schedule did not allow for us to use any amenities other than the rooms (although we did purchase some coffee and snacks from the food area). Because of the unacceptable noise levels, and the indifference of the staff, I would advise others to find an alternative place to stay while in Reykjavik.
