Helpful and courteous staff, great location, good breakfast, and reasonable prices make the Center Plaza a great place to stay in Reykjavik with only a five minute walk to Bus Stop 1.

Hotel centrale located on cute square in old town. Lots of shopping and restaurants and pubs near by. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Shower door was kind of funky, but overall a nice eco friendly hotel

The hotel is very well located, close to restaurants and convenience stores, and within short walking distance to most bus stops for tours. The surroundings are beautiful and it was very quiet. We loved the breakfast, with a variety of food and drinks. Definitely, staying here again and am recommending it to friends who are visiting soon.

This is a great hotel if you are a patron of the late night party scene in Reykjavik. it faces the small square, while the main drag of nightclubs, restaurants and bars stretch out beyond the view from your room. the good thing is, if you are not one to close the clubs down, but want get back to your room with some time to spare, this is the perfect hotel. You can literally crawl from the clubs past the police paddy wagons (waiting for their late night regimen rounding up the drunks and troublemakers screaming into the night) to your hotel just across the square. Now, if you want to watch the very end of the evening from the privacy of your hotel room, perfect, here you are. You can feel and hear the thumping music from the clubs until 3AM or so, your windows will vibrate, you are practically back at the club! They shoot off fireworks till almost 4AM, so it really is the city of light up North. We had to take a very early taxi to the Bus Station on our way out of town, and the hotel is perfectly situated near the rows of taxis waiting to take the late night crowd home. So we just hopped in one and went to the bus station with no traffic worries.

We were able to check in early (for a fee) but hotel gifted us breakfast. Lvely hotel, clean. Location is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend!

Nice hotel. Conveniently located and with good transport links. Only drawback is whilst they serve breakfast, they dont have an in house restaurant that does lunch and dinner. But Pros outweigh that one Con and I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Reykjavik and looking for a place to stay that is not too expensive. Rooms are fine and comfortable enough too.

Property was fantastic and beyond our expectations. It was close to everything and made seeing the city incredibly easy. Only thing to watch out for is parking, not a lot of parking and any available is at an additional cost

Nice hotel in the heart of Reykjavik. There’s a convenient store next to the hotel, walkable and also it’s a good price. Rooms were warm, and I didn’t encounter any issues.
