Hotel Langaholt

We’ve stayed at Langaholt twice. The meals are delicious, the staff is friendly & the location is perfect.

Old property maintained well

Amazing

Staff were extremely helpful on all aspects of our 2-night stay. We had a rental car issue which they even helped us with. The evening buffet was excellent with tremendous variety with several different (for me) foods that I really enjoyed. And seeing the Northern Lights from our balcony made the visit even more special.

Such a haven in the middle of gorgeous wilderness, and the restaurant’s buffet was delicious. This place is a gem.

Nice hotel

The woman at the front desk is amazing. She went above and beyond to help. The room was spacious and everything was clean.

Good location for toyring Sneafellness. Room was spare but clean and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful. Staff was freingly and helpful.

The hotel was lovely and quaint with actual keys for your room instead of keycards. The insulation isn't the best as we kept hearing movement in the hallways throughout the evening. If you were in the area for during the season for the northern lights, this hotel would make a great place as the surrounding areas were completely dark without any street lamps. The included breakfast was a cold spread. Dinner was buffet style with a lot of fish dishes, soups, sides, etc. The homemade rye bread is lovely and I think I ate 4 slices in a single sitting.

We had a very comfortable stay at this fine hotel. If you want to taste authentic Icelandic cuisine, the dinner buffet option is absolutely delicious!

A lovely little hotel situated very close to Ytri Tunga at the beginning of the southern entrance to Snaefellsnes. Simple accommodations, nice dinner buffet & breakfast with stunning views. Highly recommended!

Staff was friendly. Room was clean but lacked basic amenities such as soap, tissues, and television.

Very clean with each room a view of ocean or mountain! Dont miss happy hour for drinks. Very good breakfast. Great location just off highway.

Clean and quiet

Basis hotel, relatively. No food choice other than (fairly expensive) in house buffet dinner. Gorgeous setting.

Staff were extremely polite & helpful. The room was quite warm, although heat off & I had bathroom window wide open. Stuffy.

We were greeted by Philip, a wonderful member of their staff. We spent two days at Langaholt touring the Peninsula, sea kayaking, and driving through 30 mile an hour winds and rain. It was awesome, and we would do it all over again. The accommodations were very adequate and the food was fabulous.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent especially the fresh baked breads. There was coffee and hot chocolate station available all day at no cost. Rooms were very clean with a great view. Needs to be updated. Our room was next to the common room which was very loud late into the night. Wifi was very weak and there was not a tv in the room. Overall enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for one night in this hotel. The rooms are clean, but fairly basic. The area in which it is located is devoid of restaurants and supermarkets. This in fact forces guests to dine in the hotel restaurant. On our trip to Iceland we dined in disparate places, eating very good quality food, but we incurred the highest cost at this hotel. In our opinion, the products and dishes offered do not justify the high price, which is about 50 euros per person drinks. By the way, we had a plate of lamb goulash, which was very salty and then made us sick. The staf was kind and helpful.
