Hotel Reykjavik Saga

Wonderful hotel, very friendly staff, the best bed I have ever slept in! All up to date amenities and even air con. Would absolutely stay again when we come back!

I wish we had more time in Reykjavik to warrant a longer hotel stay. We were there one night - and loved it! Comfortable bed, spacious room, everything you would need. The proximity to everything was ideal - walkable and quaint.

Outstanding property near the center of town. Room was excellent and the bathroom was clean and huge. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure

Nice hotel - great breakfast. I chose this hotel out of of a selection of 3 others as this stated it had a spa. Really underwhelmed by this false advertisement, the ‘hot tub’ you see in the picture is a tiny foot bath with freezing cold water. I had dedicated the last day to spend here but was really upset to discover what the ‘spa’ offered. Also got charged twice for hot chocolates, which as we know Iceland is expensive. Will need to pick this up with the hotel separately.

Lovely stay. Slept very well and enjoyed the spa. Highly recommend. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were attentive and kind.

Nicholas at the front desk was incredibly helpful and allowed us to check in our bags and access the breakfast bar as our flight arrived long before the check in time. The restaurant staff also provided us with coffee throughout the day while waiting for our room as we had been awake for 24 hours at that point and were a godsend!

Beautiful room. Excellent staff and service (Maria at the front desk was so kind!). Lovely chatting with Artem at the bar. Overall an amazing stay in a beautiful place.

It was only a one-night stay after a 2-night stay a few days before. Reception is always very welcoming and accommodating.

Very nice hotel!

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. Reception staff were so helpful and friendly. Annex building room was large and comfortable with lots of amenities. The only slight critisism i have was the do not disturb sign was on the door but the room was made up anyway. Not a major issue but was unexpected. All in all a great stay and would return.

Super clean, comfy, very friendly and helpful team who spoke perfect English (our Icelandic is rubbish!). Breakfast was fantastic and they arranged a to-go breakfast bag on our last morning as we had to leave early - we didn't need to remind them, they remembered and had them ready at our check-out (5am!) which was great. Room was impeccably clean, bed super comfy, very quiet - no road noise, very cosy and liked that we could adjust the room temperature to suit us. Also really appreciated that housekeeping is on a request-only basis, so no unnecessary replacing of towels/robes etc. We used the spa which we had to ourselves and was lovely and clean with plenty of towels/robes/slippers and lemon-infused water which was a nice touch. Excellent location, an easy walk to everything you could need as well as a 1 minute walk to bus stop number 1 where all the excursions go from. Would 100% stay again, and will recommend to friends and family who wish to visit Iceland - only wish we could have stayed longer.

lovely location

Absolutely loved this hotel and location. It’s super modern, feels luxurious and it’s located right next to the pond and is in easy walking distance from all of downtown. I chose this hotel because of the reviews that it was quiet and it did not disappoint in that department. I got the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel here. If you are taking and group tours, the bus stop is right across the street which you can see from the hotel lobby. I found that I was always the first stop for pickups on the tours which made it easier than standing out there in the cold waiting for the bus within the 30 minute window.

It was convenient for shopping dining sight seeing and easy access to transportation breakfast was great amenities like the self service spa was an added bonus 10/10 would recommend
