ODDSSON Midtown Hotel

First time I stayed at a no-reception hotel. I liked that my room was close to the elevator and right next to the common fridge/cooler. The blonde younger girl at the restaurant who was by herself during breakfast rudely yelled at me “NO!” when I approached the breakfast area thinking it wasn’t 7 AM yet (it was 7:02 on my watch). When she realized she was wrong she laughed to herself but didn’t apologize. Appreciate the no-fee hotel parking.

This was my second time staying here, and I’m so glad I did. Room was comfortable and spacious. The kitchenette was enough for a basic meal. The breakfast is definitely the highlight. Well stocked with a great variety. Staff was super quick to restock and keep the breakfast area clean. The only downside is the limited parking in the basement garage.

New hotel, nice rooms. Only con is parking. The garage has very limited spots and if you get to the hotel after 7 or 8pm you will have to park in a shopping center neaby and move your car by 8am

Nice hotel away from the center of Reykjavik. Parking was great if available, but only 16 spaces.

Perfect for a sleeping hotel. No issues.

The rooms and hotel were very clean. Easy to navigate and hotel was very communicative through email. The reception is off site so you will not have a love staff but we had zero problems. Parking for the hotel/in the hotel is around a few spaces (10 or so) and if there’s no parking, you can park right alongside the hotel. Great breakfast in the AM and beer and games at night in the lobby/food area.

Breakfast had great choices a little different each day. Kitchen staff helpful. Room a little small but we were only there to sleep.

Breakfast was amazing! Clean and spacious rooms. Evening soup option was our first price shock of around $30 USD a bowl. We decided to order pizza from across the street which was more family affordable. Our stay was nice.

Breakfast was very healthy and nutritious …the staff were very accommodating, kind and patient. Parking was challenging on site but was glad there was an available parking across the street from the hotel.

Place is excellent stay near downtown Reykjavik. Just be aware that parking spots are limited. Besides parking issue, perfect place to stay.

Self check-in was super easy. Breakfast spread is good. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel, as well as super close grocery stores. Parked in the hotel garage 2 of the 3 nights and easily found street parking on the night the garage was full. No complaints and I would highly recommend.

The term mid town to an American usually means it’s in middle of the city / town. To our surprise we had a good drive each time and more of a challenge finding parking on arrival. Otherwise very good, friendly and helpful staff, again the parking is limited we were forced to park at the stores across the road nightly.

Parking lot was small so sometimes we had to park down the street, breakfast was the same every day they should have a variety

The staff were consistently friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of fresh and healthy options to start the day right. Another big plus was how convenient it was for most tours to pick up and drop off directly at the hotel, which made exploring the city much easier.
