Property is a challenge to get to. Cobblestone lanes very overcrowded and dirty neighborhood. When leaving property had 2 porters carry our bags out and we tipped them 500 rupees. Well worth it. Loved our veranda overlooking the Ganges until the monkeys show up at dusk and dawn. The food in the restaurant was the best butter chicken we have ever had. Monkey stole my banana from me the first morning. Definitely an authentic Indian experience. When leaving the hotel we got talked into going to a silk showroom. Would have been better if you go on first day of stay if you plan on purchasing custom wear. The route to the silk showroom was a maze and claustrophobic for Canadian standards. So many people squished together. Way out of our comfort zone. We definitely collected good stories from this stay.

Staffs are very nice. It is hard to find the place. If you want to close to Ganges river, it is good place to stay. But transportation is not easy.

Fantastic location overlooking the Ghats. Property was not good value for money ( but we were there during Dev Divali ) .

The best part of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. It is situated in a prime location along the Ganges, offering excellent views of the river from the sit-out dining area. The hotel staff were incredibly considerate and moved us to a river-view room on the second day. We also had a qualified guide who was very patient and helpful in taking us around the city. However, accessing the hotel can be a bit challenging as there is no direct approach. But that’s also part of the charm of Varanasi—you get to immerse yourself in its unique atmosphere every day.

Nice cozy place and close to all worship place. Staff is very affectionate, caring and helping ! Neeraj Singh is excellent person as a guide and friend.

The biggest advantage of the property is its proximity to one of the ghats of Benaras. The rooms are worn out and access to hotel is tricky (no direct road access). Its a decent option to crash on a budget travel but the rent is not so budget friendly

What a great property, near the ghats and Kashi Viswanath Temple, room views of the Ganges. The staff was fantastic, great food from the kitchen. Very walkable in the heart of Varanasi. The hotel hosts were amazing, arranged a private guide and a day package to visit different temples and sites around the city, made my stay even more amazing... Highly recommend this hotel in Varanasi!!!

The place is really close to the river and it's super quite to sleep there .

Like location, tiny walk to the ghat for walk along Ganges. Didn’t like bathroom and breakfast room was boiling, although there was an opportunity to sit outside with rooftop view of Varanasi

C est un hôtel ou le personnel est vraiment sympa. Je n est rencontré aucun problème particulier dans l hôtel. Le seule point et qu il faut être équipé du GPS pour trouver l hôtel. Mais une fois trouver plus de soucis.

The location was great overlooking the Ganges River

We had an excellent stay. The room was large and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The location cannot be beat—very convenient to ghats, 5 min walk to evening aarti, yet tucked away and very quiet. Beautiful roof terrace for breakfast or just sitting and enjoying the view. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful.

Good location, beautiful hotel and clean bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the staff constantly trying to sell me overpriced tours, boat rides, and apparel and asking how much I paid for my purchases. It was very annoying to deal with this all day outside the hotel, and then inside the hotel. Just offer once and then stop pushing it.

The staff went out way to look after us. Neeraj was really Goyal around.

This is a good affordable hotel right on the Ghats. It cannot get more convinient to visit the various sights on the Ghats, take a boat ride and go to the many temples than staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It is a perfect place at a budget price that is safe, convinient and hospitable.

This hotel is very close to the Ghat but to get there, you need to contact the owner and get somebody from the hotel to lead you there. No car access, but that would be true about most hotels on the Ghat. The area is stinky and smelly, often the smell permeates to the room. But again: this would be true about any hotel on the Ghat. The room was not too expensive, but the price you get only basic comfort. No working TV, internet in the room very slow, you need to go to a lobby for this. Often power outages (not long though). Interesting mixture of people in the hotel. The hotel can organize the transport from/to the airport and a morning boat trip on Ganges. The rooms and toilets correspond more to Indian local standards. I was not successful to develop any friendship with the owners and the stuff, which often is a benefit of staying in small hotels. Briefly: next time I would rather choose a different place to stay. But if you look for simple and not-that-expensive accommodation, this hotel might be a correct choice.

Mr. Sanjay and his team took care of my family. They are very considerate and made all the arrangements for Darshan and Cab for the to-and-fro journey to DDU station. We liked the food. River view rooms are the absolute charm. Have observed a sizable number of foreign tourists in this hotel during our stay. Thank you very much for everything. Special mention to Mr. Neeraj. He was omnipresent in all the activities in and around the temples and ghats.

Very convenient right on the ghat close to the temple. Every member of the staff was very helpful. Thank you for going extra mile to make my stay a pleasant one.
