The Park Hyatt is my 'go-to' hotel in Chennai, always super quiet and very comfortable. Best beds in Chennai and love the Lotus Pond area and the breakfast buffet. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The spa is also nice. Only issue this time is that there was a musty smell in the room. They sprayed it with some air freshener when I called down, but I discovered during the night that the shower was leaking quite a lot, and this was creating a dampness in the bathroom, which probably led to the musty smell. I reported it in the morning so I hope they have corrected it by now. Other than that issue, a great stay.

The Hyatt has the most comfortable beds in Chennai, way better than most of the other five-stars (Chola hotel nearby also good beds, the Leela Palace has mattresses like hard boards). So quiet in room, had a great sleep. Breakfast also excellent and loved sitting by the lotus pond outside for breakfast (not sure about the music they play at that time of day - would prefer if it were quieter). Spotlessly clean, plenty of hot water for bath and free sauna area good, with nice, but small, roof-top pool. Definitely my preferred hotel in Chennai now, having stayed in all the top hotels over last 15 years.

Good place. Well maintained. But for the price lot of better options available. The restaurant options are limited during day time. The facility and layout not very intuitive. I would stay if I get a cheaper deal. But not for the same price as a raddison blu for example that has incredible buffet and high tech rooms.

Stayed three nights here with my family. Very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. The dining options were top notch. The restaurant and bar staff were super attentive and nice. The concierge went above and beyond in helping us on a few tasks (getting medicines, printouts, arranging travel). The bell desk was efficient as well. Loved our stay and will stay again.
