Amazing property. The room was well appointed and the bed large and convenient. The best was the staff particularly the lady who checked us in. Shame about the metro work outside - ruins the atmosphere.

This is my 5th stay at this property. What I love about this property are the staff. They take very good care of you. Food is amazing at breakfast, lunch at Anise and dinner at Southern Spice. I think this is one of the best hotels to stay in Chennai. Every staff member is very courteous, helpful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is very comfortable. I highly recommend Taj Coromandel.

It's very hard to reach someone in the front desk check-in through a phone call. All calls go to a central reservation center and they are not helpful with answering your questions.

I recently stayed at Taj Coromandel and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their warmth and willingness to assist in every possible way. We did encounter a small hiccup with the airport pickup, as a smaller car was sent, which led to a bit of a squeeze for the family. However, the rest of our stay more than made up for this.
The team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and when I requested a six-hour extended checkout, they happily accommodated, which made our departure much easier. Special mention goes to the travel desk, who efficiently arranged for a car to help us explore the city – it was a fantastic way to experience the local area.
Overall, the stay was exceptional. The staff's dedication and attention to detail left a lasting impression, and I would be delighted to return to Taj Coromandel in the future.

This has to be the best stay I had ever! Staff was very accomodating. They were very helpful in extending my checkout time when I got stuck elsewhere.
After checkout, I forgot a pair of pants in my room. They mailed my pants back to me. No other place go to this extend for customer care. Wah Taj!

Overall great experience. The staff were above and beyond except for that one guy in the bar. He was being arrogant. He didn't close me out and then made it feel like I was trying to leave without paying.

If you want top notch service, look no further!!! This is as good as it gets folks. The staff is attentive, so polite, and they get things done! During our trip to India our family stayed at the Taj coromandel for half the time and at itc for the other half. Taj exceeded in every single parameter except for the size of the room (which we totally get). If not for the space constraint, we will choose the taj every single time!

We were welcomed with smile. There was an issue with price charged compared to the booking price which was resolved amicably.
The environment is good. Meals are tasty with good selection of varieties.
Staffs are ready to help. Foot spa was an added benefit in the tariff I paid.
Overall we enjoyed the stay.
