Staff very polite and genuinely ready to help. Hotel layout, particularly lobby and terrace are amazing. Dinning hall supervisor (Glen) was always there to make sure that other staff are prompt in providing great service. Highly recommended. Will come back in near future

Excellent Hotel

Cidade was an experience by itself in lovely Goa. The service and staff were exceptional in their attentiveness and service; Horizon felt like a pearl sotting quietly and beautifully in the warmth and bustle of the busy city. The hotel is a seven rating in its maintenance and the quality of food offered. We are definitely going to recommend it to everyone.

Nice property

Very nice, modern facility . One of the best breakfast we had on our 21 day journey .

Our trip to the Taj property did not meet the expectations that ones looks for when visiting a 5 star hotel. To begin with, 1) when we reached hotel, there was no one to welcome us. I reached out to staff member who took my Id and asked me to wait. While i was waiting with my family, no one offered any beverage. 2) After waiting for what seemed like a long time we decided to head for lunch. The staff member said they will hand us the key at the restaurant. The staff lady came to meet us to give us back our IDs and share the property itinerary sheet but not the keys. 3) so again after finishing out lunch we had to still go back to the reception asking for our oeys which took additional 10 mins. 4) No one gave us the property tour and so when we were ready to hit the pool we were not sure where to head. Had to go back to the reception asking for help, which then they provided. But by then we were super frustrated. 5) the air condition of the room was not working well, it had spots in the room where it felt hot while other side felt super cold. We complained and the technician came to check the air which he said was working but even after we explained the issue all we got the response was to give it 0 mins to cool then. Long story short till the end our stay it did not get fixed. We did complain second time at the reception and were told they will send portable fan which never was delivered. 6) in room dining was always late and food cold.

Amazing staff and great service

We have one of the best experiences in Taj. Food was amazing. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Services were really great. I would love to visit here again

Overall.thr property was clean. But service was mediocre..Sauna didnt work when we wanted to use it and were told to come next day but we were checking out so cudnt use it. Frontdesk says they would deliver your request but we get it to our room 5 hours later..Be careful of the local taxi people hired from the hotel..they take you for a ride drop you off n not show up n keep you waiting while the hotel charges for extra kms and what not..no compensation offered for in convenience..on the pricey side but nothing too special for the money paid..Do research before booking..

Overall good At arrival should have explained where everything is located

Unfortunately the staff has forgotten what customer experience is…the frequency of my stay at this property is relatively high and over a period of time have seen the service getting deteriorated. Whether it was the consistency in the facilities inside the room or service has taken a downfall.

Clean and customer service

The hotel is super clean and has the most amazing view; plus, the staff are total pros and really welcoming.

Honestly, junior staff should be trained better. Nothing much to do nearby the hotel. Room is perfect though.

Our stay at the Taj was nothing short of extraordinary. It was like a luxurious escape, with breathtaking in-room views of the beach and the vast ocean. The suite was spacious, well maintained, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Strolling along their private beach was a highlight, adding a sense of tranquility to our getaway. The dining experience, both in their restaurants and in-room service was exceptional, making our overall stay a memorable one.

Location and view but we were not given the room that we booked , it was a bigger room with no view and in corner of the hotel, we booked a 2 bedroom apartment with sea view which they didnt provide

We had booked the Marriott resort and spa. However our stay at Marriott resort and spa didn't match our expectations. That's why we decided to go to Taj horizon as we didn't want to ruin our anniversary at Marriott. Taj horizon is one of the best hotel in Goa.I lived the view from our room. All the staff were curtious and welcoming. The food and ambience were amazing. Overall I'm really glad ☺️
