It was a wonderful stay at Trident, Chennai. The rooms in the property need some major updating, especially the washrooms. The staff were courteous and friendly. They made us feel very very welcome. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

This property, though close to the airport, is in close proximity to congested and polluted locations, however this is not at all the fault of the hotel staff or its management

I had to change my reservation due to a family emergency. Though they didn’t have to, they graciously accommodated my request. Checkin was easy. Since my stay was shortened, they even offered me transportation to the airport. The service at lobby cafe was Great. Staff was very professional and courteous. Room was good though slightly dated.

My very first hotel on my very first visit to India over 21 years ago was a Trident Hotel (Gurgaon) and over the years I have been fortunate to stay in others (eg Bhubaneswar) I finally was able to stay in Trident Chennai, one which has been on my list for a while now. Well it was worth the wait as I have been completely blown away by the wonderful team here. Nothing seems to be too much trouble I have been treated as if I was a VIP. With all things I acknowledge it is a team effort but there are some who I belive deserve special recognition and they are the perfect hosts Mubashshir and Adhithya in the Bar in particular who have looked after me so incredibly well, even to the point of somehow immortalised me in edible chocolate! There are others who went the extra mile and deserve to be recognised, such as the kind gentleman Bala (I hope I got the name correct) at the Spa; and also Rupa in the Bar. Trident, Chennai you have some wonderful team members who are beyond 5 🌟. If you are fortunate to be coming to Chennai and are wondering where to stay, I heartily commend the Trident Chennai to you.

My stay in Trident was the best in India, polite, clean and tasty food with spacious rooms. Most importantly service.

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous. They were looking for ways to be of service to us. We did not feel that they did it for ulterior motives. They were genuinely proud of their contribution to the success of the hotel. Hard to find such dedication.

Very good dining options

As a first-time visitor to India, this was a very nice hotel to stay at. The reception staff were pleasant, helpful and checked me in at 1:00am; and were also able to arrange for a car (at cost) to take me to an appointment. The room was clean and serviced daily. The restaurant had a good variety of food for breakfast and dinner. All of the day trips I had organised picked-up from the hotel.
