Break Villa Kintamani

A simple, rustic ensuite cabin with great view and private outdoor hot tub. We had some lovely moments here. Situated with farmland on one side but a lot more accommodation stretching up the hill behind, don't expect tranquility as sound from nearby farms (including chainsawing), building works, staff on their phones, other guests playing music outside, and other accommodation carries easily. On one day guests in the neighbouring cabin played loud music all evening and then made video calls on their balcony until late at night. Food is pretty good, but the choices are very limited. The staff are eager to make Break Villa more attractive and we wish them good luck. We can suggest: give new water bottles every day, clean the rubbish bins every day.

Comfy Villa! The owner (Aji Kadek) also very warm and humble person. Definetely will come back to Kintamani and sure stay in this villa! It has natural hot spring water too! You can enjoy the scenery of Gunung Batur in the morning and the view was so great!

The view from this villa is so breathtaking! The bedroom and bathroom were big and clean, I guess it was a new property. It was 100-150 metres from the main road, I arrived there alone with a scooter after dark, it was honestly quite spooky so I was anxious. But it was safely parked even though no designated parking area (if you bring a car, better ask the owner first where to park it). The facilities were quite simple, better bring your own late night snacks or having your dinner first outside because they said nearby places were closed around 8 pm. I cancelled my plan for sunrise catching at Mount Batur because it was raining all night long and unfortunately I had a tight schedule so I left after only spend 1 night here and only visited a hotspring nearby. This place is recommended if you want a quiet place with breathtaking views of Mount Abang & Lake Batur, and with some company (partner or family). Not really enjoyed it because I was there alone haha! Anyway, it was managed by a family and they can help you if you needed guides to explore Mount Batur.

Loved it. This is a small family-run site with only three well-designed and built chalets in a beautiful garden with great views of Lake Batur and Mt Abang. We booked last minute and arrived late at night but were welcomed by two very helpful young ladies that gave us a meal and managed to organise a hike up Mt Batur starting at 03:30 the following morning. There's no air conditioning yet but at that altitude and with the fan provided we didn't need it. Could do with a bit of additional furniture such as a shelf in the bathroom but with your support I'm sure they'll continue to invest and improve. Google Maps took us to the previous property on the road so we needed directions and you can't drive right up to the chalets, probably a 50 m walk.

The view from room was breathtaking, straight to Mount and Lake Batur. The room was clean, big, calm, and comfortable. The staffs were so helpful. But, to get to the property, you must go through a very narrow, macadam, and steep road. Better prepare yourself to bring not a luggage but a carrier or backpack.

The plunge pool water is dirty and the water isn't warm enough, lots of flies but it 's OK. The next two rooms partied until wee hour with loud music, drunk and their BBQ smoke was overwhelming us we basically stay outside the hotel until 10 pm, thanks God there is a Segara healing hot spring nearby.
