The hotel is very clean and very comfortable. For that price in Yogyakarta, including very affordable and strategic. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, I can't swim because I'm busy working. Even though the swimming pool is nice and clean.

Nice. Comfortable. The pool is great for backpackers. Had breakfast of fried rice and delicious coffee. Free and easy dinner in the hotel.

Friendly service, smelly toilet because FD is not equipped with a trap, exhaust fan needs to be cleaned, hot water in the morning is not optimal, downlights are loose, it's time to replace the sheets, the power outlet is dead when the lights go out. Thx

An impromptu hotel while in Jogja, it's quite a large and spacious family room, cleanliness needs to be improved, there's a swimming pool, lots of food along the right and left sides of the hotel, unfortunately there's no lift.

Karyawan enak banget pelayanan nya, dan selalu menuruti customer, dulu selalu langganan di sini, tp kemaren pas bermalam lagi, keadaan kamar memprihatinkan, rak kaca rias kayu bawahnya remuk gak dibersihkan, tembok jamuran, ac swing nya di selotip, sampai minta pindah kamar 3x tetap sama keadaan nya, sebenarnya saya nyaman di kamar belakang yang diparkiran karena enak ada terasnya dan dekat mobil, tolong diperhatikan dan direnovasi ya hotel matahari, sayang banget, ada kamar baru diblkg tp juga lembab, kamar mandi juga banyak kuning-kuning nya di lantai. Sayangnya foto sudah saya hapus.

Nggak ada lift. Saya bawa orang tua yang umur 55 up. Dapet kamar lantai 3. Hrsnya pihak hotel ada info fasility (lift/ no lift) mint pindah lantai 1 katanya penuh. Akhirnya lntai 2 kamar standar. Padahal pesan yang deluxe.

Bagi anda yang terbiasa bersih, saya tidak merekomendasikan hotel ini, hotel ini cocok untuk rombongan anak sekolah. Saya minta bed besar, dikasihnya nya 3 bed kecil disusun, banyak semut, keramahan staff juga kurang. Sayang sekali, harusnya menjelang liburan, hotel dimaksimalkan kebersihnya.

Highly recommended, the price is very affordable, the rooms and hotel environment are neat and nice. The receptionist service was very friendly, the breakfast service was also very good, the bathroom was clean, the water was abundant, I was really satisfied staying at Hotel Matahari. God willing, if you go to Jogja again you will stay at Hotel Matahari.

Saya booking untuk yang tipe moderate room. Saya pikir hanya ada 3 kasur seperti yang di gambar tapi ternyata ada 5 single bed dengan kamar yang luas. AC oke ya, dingin. Cuma untuk kamar mandi pintunya kurang rapat jadi agak menganga sedikit. Lalu air panas tidak berfungsi jadi pas dateng jam 20.30 malam, mau mandi jadi kedinginan karena air panas tidak nyala. Shower juga gak deras, mungkin udah lama ya. Keran buat wudhu gak ada jadi susah juga.

Kamar tidak sesuai yang dipesan dengan alasan tinggal itu. AC hanya keluar angin. Pemanas air kamar mandi tidak fungsi. Kebersihan kurang. Pelayanan staf biasa saja dan tidak ramah, Staf juga diam saja saat ketemu tamu dan tidak menyapa. Sarapan modelnya pesen dulu jadi tidak ambil sendiri, itupun menu nya hanya itu-itu saja selama 2 hari say menginap. Dan yang paling parah adalah banyaknya serangga dan kondisi kamar yang kurang bersih (pantesan pas pertama masuk seperti bau kecoa apalagi di kamar mandi. Sudah disemprot dan lain-lain juga tidak hilang. Dan ternyata memang kecoanya banyak). Kecoa, semut, cacing di kamar mandi dan tikus di luar kamar. Kenapa kemarin tidak pindah hotel, soalnya sudah pesan 2 hari dan kebetulan saya hanya pakai kamar sore/malam hari (paginya saya ada acara sampai sore-malam). Di luar banyaknya kekurangan ada satu sisi positif dari hotel ini yaitu lokasi strategis dipinggir jalan utama. Namum bagi saya cukup pertama dan terakhir untuk menginap di sini.
