Hotel Victory Cirebon

The hotel mattress seems not to be maintained well. I order twin bed, but all of those beds are broken. The coil spring went to be off when we sleep into.

Hotel is good, the breakfast is pretty good nothing special. Room is clean, slipper and tissue provided. Hotel area so many food special in evening.

I was asking for non smoking room because my pregnancy, but they gave me smoking room. Then I asked for another room, at the first time I entry that room didn’t smell any smoke yet, but in couple hours the smoke smells so strong I didn’t know where it came from because the door always closed.

Comfortable for business trip.

I booked deluxe 2 room in this hotel for My choice was limited between 29 to 30 dec 2017 as all the good hotel in cirebon were fully booked while my family and I (Me, my wife and two sons - 11 year old and 5 year old) need a place to crash in on our way back from Solo trip to Jakarta. Despite several complains from traveller in their reviews at web, but I have not so much choice. Immediately after I receive the voucher from booking site, I made a phone call to the hotel to make sure we do have a room when checking in. The hotel receptionist, actually knows what she is saying but she really needs to put much more energy and spirit in her tone when replying to customer. Because she speaks as if she was totally exhausted, not interested and no eagerness. Anyway, she confirms our reservation. We checked in at about 20.30. Parking lot is very limited. There is small parking lot in front of the lobby which were more convenient. But can only fit 3 cars (actually 4 if the hotel employees park their motorcycle properly). The rest have to park in front of the hotel which actually aside from the main road. When we arrived the inside lot was full so we parked outside. It was still empty when we arrived. There is a 24/7 security guard watching the car. The check in process was fast. But don't expect concierge services to carry your luggages. You could ask the security guard to help of he was not busy and you give him good tip. What I didn't like at the check in process was I have to leave my ID Card/KTP for them to keep. Its dangerous, they can lost it. If they want to save money for the copy machine, just use scan app at android/app store. No wasted paper. And customer can keep their KTP/ID. We got room 206 at second floor. Yes, no lift. Only stairs. Not convenient. If you choose first floor room,expect lots of noises from the road, people walking in and out the hotel etc. second floor up is much quieter. Room was small. 18sqm or a bit more. AirCon gets colder after a while (a while means at least 2-3hrs later), suspected they only use 0.5pk AC while its minimum supposedly 1pk. Bed not so comfortable especially if you have back problem. Pillow was bad. Bathroom was so so. A shower with hot and cold water. The hot water was plenty, it was nice. But they chose the wrong floor tile for the bathroom. So it was stained all over. Towel was good. Breakfast was terrible. Just local food being served, rice with 4-5 menu. Taste was so so. They serve bread but very low quality. Coffee not good. And mosquitoes all over the resto and its toilet. So we checked out, go out to our car and there was already 1 car parked behind ours. To make it worse, there was a change shift of the security guard and the night shift forgot to handover the guest detail that parked the car. So we waited for half an hour with our engine on just to get our car out. All and all, if not so desperate, I would not recommend this hotel. Same thing goes for me too.
