Check in took a while, kids got dolls, no bell boy, parking had to be at the back if you wanted to be in the lobby area, license plate had to be registered first. Just entered the room and entered the bathroom the curtain fell, the receptionist called engineering after checking it turned out it had fallen before and had been repaired but the drilling was wrong, they said it should have been drilled on the wall but it was drilled on the ceiling. 40 minutes no solution, I called the receptionist 3 times, the one named Wati made it easy "oh it's just a curtain fell". While I have children, 1 toddler, what if the curtain had hit my child? Luckily I was the one who entered the bathroom not my children (closed the bathroom door put the shower cap-suddenly the curtain fell) only after the afternoon shift change I was moved to a new room by the receptionist named Ardi. The duty manager when called said that he didn't know the bathroom curtain had been damaged. Everyone blamed each other πŸ˜…. The housekeeping in front of the room said that she wasn't the one who cleaned the room so she didn't know that the curtain was broken, the housekeeping supervisor said that the curtain was fine when checked before the room was declared ready, I asked if it was checked open/closed and she said no because it had been repaired by engineering. Hopefully this will be a lesson for the duty manager, housekeeping, and other staff. If the room has been damaged, it should be checked seriously. If a guest is injured/injured, it will be very bad for Mercure employees. Take safety seriously.

The location is really good, at night you can enjoy the nightlife in Cikini & also culinary. All the staff are friendly, informative & prioritize customer satisfaction. And it turns out I booked a privilege room which has several benefits, can check in earlier & can check out late until 4PM, then get afternoon tea too but unfortunately I didn't try it because I was already full from eating out. For breakfast food is delicious & varied. It's just a bit minus in the layout of the restaurant, I can't sit inside the restaurant because there are many reserved tables & chairs outside are quite cramped with people passing by because of that people's access to the elevator to the room. The rest is okay. Thank you & definitely would love to recommend it to friends & family.

The rooms are not clean. We went to the first room and it was bad. Toilet curtain was slimy at the bottom. Carpets were dusty and had stains. We asked for a switch to another room. But it wasn't that great. And we left the hotel, immediately. Checked out. All this while the luggage wasn't sent up. So we took it ourselves from the lobby and left.
