Nusa Indah Bungalows

I stayed in an old original style bungalow. The bed was comfortable with aircon. But as is normal in the older rooms, the lighting is terrible and I had to use my phone light. The location is great on the west side of the island so awesome for taking incredible sunset photos. Good for snorkeling when the tide's in but not really a swimming beach. The owner can organise pickups and boat tickets, but make sure he books the one you actually want.

We were put in a room (not a Bangalow) and I have to admit that of all of the places in the world that I have ever stayed in, this is the worst. They said our room wasn’t ready and then when they had it “ready” and we got there, the room was absolutely disgusting. The room was beyond derelict, dirty and stunk pungent sewage as soon as we came in to the room. It was later on the day so we had nowhere else to stay. We didn’t even sleep inside of the bed. There were bugs on the bed too and stained sheets. We had booked for three night but the place was so disgusting that we left the next morning. The sewage smell was just absolutely disgusting above all else. People were ok but not even fazed at all when we told them about it.

This is not the most lux place on the island... However, the rooms/bungalows are clean, air-conditioned, the people are attentive and helpful and it's great value for money. I've stayed here multiple times, I come back. Enough said right!? :-)

Great location of you want to have peace and a sunset every night. They will book the best snorkeling trip for you with the best guides. Staff is so nice! Right next to the sea. Breakfast. Bikes and snorkel gear for low rental. Cold AC. Low key island vibe, but walking distance to anything. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer!

The pros of staying here were: budget cost, quiet and dark location, nice beach spot, staff trying to be nice. But be aware of: there's only cold and salty showers in all rooms (which was not mentioned anywhere), everything is very basic (bright white lights, no decor, poor breakfast, no lights around at night) and dated (paint peeling, bathroom not draining). Also I had few communication issues with the staff.
