The food during breakfast was empty, we entered dining room at 07am but most of the food were gone and no replacement. No cups, no glass for drinking. Water hot water at shower room. No TV channels at all inside the room. No coffee and tea sachets inside the room. The room cleanliness was also average, which is below standard. I saw only 1 service attendant/waitress during breakfast time, there should be more attendant during the busiest time. The manager should be there to overlook the whole operation. I paid for extra 2 breakfast but it 's useless as we didn't get the food.

The hotel is a bit far from everything else. Transportation is a challenge in Parapat in general. When we first arrived no one greeted us and the only friendly and willing to help staff was Owen (bellboy/housekeeping). If you don't get the rooms facing Toba lake, then there 's nothing special about this hotel. Room small but pretty clean and tidy. We stayed here for 3 nights and over a long weekend. 2 of the nights they got pretty full and there was no hot water, so we had to ask somebody to bring a bucket of hot water for us to shower, because the water around Toba is very cold. I tried to ask for help to arrange tour or car rental or where to get food but the receptionists were not very helpful. Only the last day, we asked the security that the small road next to theirs is a road to restaurants. They could've mentioned it when I was asking questions about the surrounding area. There is a small karaoke cafe right next to the hotel and every night they had their music full blast until 12-1am. Breakfast so so, view from the swimming pool is pretty great.

The view is very good. The pool is nice. The only minor issue was the breakfast for children with 6 years old need to be paid separetely (not included as part of breakfast package).

1St night 1 group of guest was chatting and gathering in front of our room until music music was loud. 2nd night was better. Just loud music. View is good, nasi goreng is yummy.
