Sans Hotel Beskalan Malioboro

+ location about 50m from Malioboro street + many food vendors around + affordable price, on weekdays the price is 200,000 / room + standard facilities TV, AC, shower, wifi - access to get here is difficult at night because Malioboro street is closed so you have to break the forbidden road & get reprimanded by many people for breaking road signs. - parking doesn't fit much, at most around 6 cars max. - no lobby and the like.. because the area is limited - the drain in the bathroom is clogged so when you take a shower the water stagnates.. - soundproofing in each room is a bit lacking

The hotel is still new so the furniture inside is also new. Close walking distance to Malioboro about 3 minutes. Hot water in the bathroom works. The bathroom is quite spacious.

The AC needs to be fixed because it's not cold at all, and the room smells bad too.

Overall staying at Sans Hotel Beskalan, the experience can be said to be So So.. Stayed during high season (Eid holiday), booked 3 rooms on the day and got a price 5x the normal price. 3-storey hotel, got 1 room on the 1st floor and 2 rooms on the 3rd floor without a lift, the result was that my calves had to be massaged after returning from Jogja hahahahaaa.. The room on the 1st floor was very damp because there was not enough ventilation/circulation, there were no windows or exhaust fans, as soon as I entered the room I could immediately smell the damp smell. The floor & bathroom mat felt dirty and sticky to my feet. One of the rooms on the 3rd floor (2 rooms) had not been cleaned, the sheets were still messy etc. There was no telephone in the room, so I had to go back down to the 1st floor or shout from the stairs wkwkwkkkk, luckily when I wanted to go down to the 1st floor I saw a hotel employee on the 2nd floor so I just shouted. Finally the room was exchanged for one that had been cleaned. Traveloka classifies this hotel as a 3-star hotel, but I asked the receptionist when checking out why there was no hot water kettle in each room (there was only 1 dispenser in the lobby on the 1st floor that didn't work hot/cold), the receptionist replied that the hotel was still a 2-star hotel so the facilities were not that complete. There is no extra bed service in all rooms because the room size is just right. But extra person is allowed, IDR 100,000/pax with additional towels & toothbrushes. The lobby floor is also a bit dirty because of the fairly busy mobility & rainy season. The water in the bathroom is smooth & strong enough, hot water is smooth. My room on the 3rd floor happened to have an outside window, so it was quite comfortable & clean. There is enough car parking, the staff is quite friendly, they just need more training to be responsive. The location is very strategic, only a few meters from Malioboro.

I checked in at 16.00, so 2 hours after the specified check-in time. However, the officer said that towels would only be available at 19.00. A deposit of 100 thousand rupiah and an ID card is required. The water smells a bit every time it is first opened, maybe using well water. It could be an option if you only need to sleep. The location is in the middle of Malioboro, more suitable if the goal is only to hang out around Malioboro. However, during high season it is very difficult to get in and out of this area, especially if using an online taxi.

There was a lot of hair on the bathroom drain, there was also dust in the room, there was hair. For the price of 1.4 and so, there was no hot water kettle in the room. At least there was a hot water kettle.

No toothbrush, horror room! But the hotel location is strategic. Only for transit recommended! Friendly staff.

The hotel is new and looks less ready with its facilities. The parking lot is narrow and less compared to the number of rooms. But the location is very close to the center of the crowd, namely Jalan Malioboro.

Booked this hotel because of my son's reference. The hotel at first glance was ordinary but the staff (madam/mas) were very friendly, only they were a bit lacking in information. The facilities lacked the provision of a kettle for hot water because there was no restaurant there so it was very difficult to get a cup of tea or coffee. The price for one person is expensive but for two people it was okay, only around Rp. 100,000. For me and all my friends, we were very happy with this hotel and will come back again. Hopefully it can be upgraded again and be more successful in the future

for that budget it is satisfying. strategic location, close to Malioboro. spacious parking. my input is to provide a wardrobe because there are only hangers there so it is difficult to put clothes. In addition, I stayed there for 4 days, but the room was not cleaned, imagine the trash was full in the trash. But overall I am satisfied staying there for 4 days. Always be successful & continue to improvise to be better.
