Selini on the Hill Villas

Access is difficult, not suitable for guests with suitcases. It is indeed suitable for backpacker travelers. The hotel is poorly maintained, the floors are rough and dusty. Dirty bathroom floor. The sheets have holes, no tea or coffee. The only thing that wins is the view. Thank you to the staff who brought the suitcase.

Honestly, it's nice, unique and aesthetic, but I don't want to stay there again because the access is really bad, because it enters an alley/village, the reception building is also not clear. From the bottom you have to walk to carry suitcases and the stairs are made of stone which is really troublesome. I don't recommend bringing older people/small children, if young people come here it's still okay, I'm afraid because the access is limited. The facilities in the room are only a pitcher of water (I don't know if it's hygienic or not), there's no coffee/tea thermos of hot water, there's only an empty refrigerator but yes, then the bathroom only has shampoo soap, there's a robe or something for after swimming or making a robe. What kind of pajamas do you wear, the room is spacious, the interior and exterior are full of wood, it really has a natural concept. But I'm Muslim, I haven't heard the call to prayer for a week in Bajo and staying here the call to prayer/reciting the Koran is very audible, masha Allah, the balcony spot also has a really nice view of the fishing pier.

Dikasih kamar paling atas yang sangat gelap. Toilet harus turun pakai tangga, nggak terlalu bersih dan tidak bisa di flush. Akhirnya pindah kamar, tapi tetap air tidak bisa mengalir dan tidak bisa flush toilet. Pegawai kurang friendly. Kalau malam sangat gelap dan sepi. Walaupun viewnya bagus, tapi sangat tidak worth the money.

Akses ke villa sangat tidak memadai, AC kamar tidak berfungsi meskipun sudah suhu terendah. Ketika kami meminta meminta solusi karyawan bingung dan tidak memberi solusi, bahkan kipas angin saja tidak ada yang tersisa. Sehingga kami kepanasan dan tidak nyaman. Karyawannya slow respon sekali. Untuk kemanan juga sangat kurang karena hanya disediakan gembok mini. Kami sangat tidak merekomendasikan villa ini kepada siapapun. Sekian dan terima kasih.

It seems like waste money. When I come to check in. They don't know what they need to do. They also don't know which room is the right one and take me to the room someone already live in. Finally they find the room where I live and they don't know how to turn on the light! The worst service. Here have many mosquito.

The staff is super nice and it has nice views. However the rooms and bathrooms are dirty, the bed and pillows are uncomfortable. The souvlaki that we had was underwhelming, it did not match the description.

Secara overall tempat super unik dan nyaman untuk staycation. Akses masuk cukup mengagetkan karena beda dengan penginapan lain, PR sekali jika bawa barang berat karena harus angkat sendiri, sayangnya jumlah staff sangat minim jadi mau apa-apa agak repot. Tempat sangat privat.

Selini on the Hill Villas is a very nice place to relax and enjoy the view of Labuan Bajo Bay. The villas are nicely decorated and spacious to stay in. It's a great place to come alone for a retreat or with a partner for a quaint honeymoon. I do have to say upfront. The place is not that hard to get to, but the slight uphill walk might be a bit hard. The path to get around the premise is narrow and at night is a bit dark to see, so make sure to turn on your phone's flashlight. Overall, I liked my stay and would like to come back with my partner to fully enjoy the place.

The entrance to the villa is very steep, it is not recommended for children or luggage because the staff will not help get things up. The rooms are only made of wood with lots of holes, be careful of mosquitoes, lizards and geckos! They can enter through an open bathroom or a hole in a wooden wall.

There is a loud noise because it is near the pier, the breakfast is lacking, the same photo that you get is not suitable, you don't get a balcony, so the view is like a cave not a friendly suitcase, like training to ride Moringa and Padar.

I've enjoyed my stay very much at this place. It was so awesome with fantastic views and beautiful sunset to indulge with. I love the settings and the interior designs in the room that I stayed in. I've even done a vlog on this. Or simply visit my YouTube Channel.

It was amazing place with amazing view. Marilena and her daughter Selini was really helpful they helped us booked out trips to go to Komodo island and it was perfect! I will be back again next week with family. Can't beat their porch, sunrise and sunset from your bed room.

The sea view is really good but the staff is bad service 1. You already know that access to the room is difficult, we are also the ones who lift things. 2. There is no telephone access to the receptionist, the only thing we have to do is go down the stairs which we know is scary, but the lobby is empty so what are we going to do is difficult. Worst of all, we didn't get breakfast even though it was free breakfast and they knew we were going to have an early flight, but the staff wasn't even there. Really disappointed.

I very enjoyed stay at selini, the view is breathtaking the interior is very rustic. And please noted if you want an experience and adventure trip. Please stay here. But if you are a spoiled bratz and demand a lux villa, go find a lux villa rather than writing a bad review. Cause we shud a bit hike to get the room that we want. They have 4-5 staff (shift) and a limit offer of menu from restaurant. So we have to be patient to wait if we need somethin. They will help. And also we shud prepare snack or water if you don't want to reffil in the kitchen. I recommended for an adventure people stay here.

I like the view from the room to the outside. Exotic harbor view. With a pool as well as a view towards the port. But the rooms are not clean. Small fountain. Restaurant orders food from outside. And the location to the inn is a bit remote. The room we ordered had broken AC so we had to change rooms.

The view is good but, access to the room is very difficult, there is no lobby, no toothbrush, soap is not filled, there is no water pen for brewing coffee and others, food is lacking, there are no stalls or shops around the hotel, advice if you want You don't have to bring a lot of things here because we bring our own up and down.

Very good hotel, very Instagram. Only cleanliness please improve again.

View hotelnya bagus, tapi jalan kesana masuk gang kecil. Ruangan berdebu, malah ada sarung bantal yang bolong-bolong. Mati lampu dari jam 9 pagi - 6 sore, air kamar mandi pun kecil banget ngalirnya. Gak bisa ngecharge gak bisa mandi:( Kalo untuk staycation better gak di sini sih daripada kesel:"
