Cosy, rustic property with a small number of standalone bungalows and two villas with their own pools.
Comfortable space, tucked away and peaceful. Yet so close to the action in the Batu Bolong area of Canggu.
Staff are warm and helpful.
Had an amazing stay and can't wait to go back.

Friendly staff, great location and our villa felt safe and was comfortable and clean. Loved that you could walk anywhere in Changu from here. Yes there were a couple of nights that were noisy (we spent a week there) but it was not unbearable and the “music” did stop around midnight. Would happily stay there next time.

The staff are the best, nothing is too much trouble and always a smiling face. We stayed in the villa with private pool and it was amazing. Clean, comfortable, beautiful bathroom. In the centre of Canguu, but down a quiet alley way, would highly recommend. Great breakfast too

This is a little oasis away from the hustle and scooter-infested streets of Canggu. Easily walkable to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc, and right next to a laundry, motorbike hire place, etc. But the place itself is calm and chilled, with a lovely pool (albeit small - only two people can really swim simultaneously) and shaded, pillowed verandas to shelter from the sun. Staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is good. The only real downside is that these traditional Balinese bungalows have zero noise insulation. At night, the nearby Deus ex Machina blasts out obnoxiously loud music until midnight, and you hear every frog, bird and raindrop. Definitely a problem for a light sleeper like me.

Great air conditioning comfortable beds and food super cheap and delicious
Beer in mind you are so close to bars and restaurants so a bit noisy up till midnight

No air con provided and the mosquitoes were horrendous despite using mosquito net and following all the procedures as instructed. Our daughter has over 30 mosquito bites on her body. The one pedestal fan in the room was useless when the mosquito. Etc was closed- you were unable to feel any kind of breeze from it.

Beautiful spot with lovely pool and great morning breakfast, easy walking distance to bars and beach. Room was clean and service was good, but be prepared that room is not fully enclosed and bathroom/shower is outdoors, so it is a bit like camping. Need to use net (which is provided) to protect against mosquitos while sleeping. Was too hot for us at night with no air conditioning and only the fan, thus didn’t get the best sleep.

This place was delightful. Only 8 bungalows in total which made it very intimate and quiet.
The pool was always clean lovely Although could have had a few more sun loungers when everyone was accessing the pool.
The room was great and the daily cleaning was always very thorough.
The staff always smiling and happy.
The breakfast was basic, but always fresh.
The location in regards to.access.to many many eateries was ideal. However the proximity to a night club did cause concerns on some nights with loud music dominating. I wouldn't let this be a determining factor when rebooking as the overall value for.money was sensational.

The staff were extremely welcoming. The property was lovely and really clean. The breakfast and meals area was outstanding as was the room service. We ordered snacks to our rooms a couple of times. I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic location! Right off the main street of Canggu. Just a short walk to so many fantastic restaurants.

We loved Calmtree - it was such a relaxing place to stay, the staff were friendly and helpful and it is located in a fantastic position amongst great cafe, restaurants and shops yet feels removed from the hustle and bustle. It's also only a stroll to the beach.
