I booked this hotel last minute after my ferry was delayed arriving into Rosslare. I arrived around 4:30am and there were no difficulties checking in at this time. Rooms were clean and comfy!

Very convenient location for Wexford and area if you have a car. The welcome, service and cleanliness was very good. The bar and restaurant menu choices were also v. good.

Big, comfortable rooms. We were there late for a quick overnight stay so didnt get to use the facilities (apart from one drink in the bar) but the whole place was clean, smart and friendly.

stay was fine
fire alarm went off at 2am for about 15 seconds
i asked staff if we needed to evacuate and i was dismissed like i was wrong for asking. i waited around to ensure it was safe to go back to sleep because staff wasn't answering.

There was no way to cool the room down. The radiators were warming it up, so it was warm and stuffy, even after turning them off. On calling the fromt desk to ask how to cool the room, they said they'd "check into it," but nothing changed. The door to the balcony also had a broken lock and the sink drain didn't work.

The Maldron is conveniently located. It’s a 3 and 1/2 stars hotel so it’s furnished adequately.
The room is fine, the mattress not very comfortable and the walls quite thin!
While the waiting staff try their best in the restaurant, the food choice and quality needs improvement: avoid the Caesar Salad as the croutons are rock hard and inedible!!

We were greeted nicely. That’s about it really. We were travelling with two couples one from Australia and one from the USA. They also agreed that the standard of this hotel was very bad.
The rooms were grubby bordering on dirty. The food was like school dinners and the beds and linen were well below par. For the money this hotel costs and for the way they portray themselves the standards were simple not acceptable.
Further, I know that the hotel cannot be responsible for the actions of its guests but it was very noisy with doors banging and loud people even at three in the morning.
I would never stay again and would not recommend this hotel I’m afraid.

Very disappointed the food was awful the heating did not work there was only one lift and the staff wwere using it to transport trolleys ect the worst was the bed was damp!

The hotel is in need of refurbishment and a good cleaning. Our room had a number of spiders in it and no amenities to speak of. Very basic. The pasta ordered for dinner from the restaurant was bland and this chicken in it tasted boiled with no flavour at all. Not within walking distance of Wexford Town. Overall, very disappointing and we wouldn't recommend it for the price.
