Woodside Lodge

Enjoyed the location very much, easy 15 minute walk into Westport. Our room was clean and stocked with coffee and tea. Patrice provided us some excellent dining suggestions. Our only issue is the plumbing in the bathroom. The toilet was tricky, the hot and cold taps on the sink were reversed and the shower was slow draining. Having said that we would stay again with the understanding that we did not book a 4 star B&B, nor did we pay the price for one. Overall good value for the money.

Hosts were amazing

The Woodside was a very quiet, peaceful place to spend our night in Westport. The owners were very friendly and affected suggestions for the area. The rooms were clean and well appointed, although there was a crack in the bathtub that was a bit disconcerting. The breakfast was top notch and checkout was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this site for a relaxing getaway in Westport.

My hosts were friendly; kept a clean and comfortable guesthouse; served a good, sustaining breakfast. My room had a good bed and satisfying shower. They were flexible with breakfast time to meet the needs of my tour driver. Having no evening transportation other than my feet, I found it to be a bit far out of town, but it is a straight shot from the main business area and ultimately walkable. I would recommend this guesthouse.

Quaint B&B!! Phenomenal hosts and food was awesome!!! Very gracious hosts!! Loved our stay here!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Enjoyable stay here, with fabulous breakfasts each day. Cosy breakfast room, allowing everyone to chat to one another with ease. Westport is a fun town to stay / visit. Plenty of shops alongside pubs and bars with great atmospheres.

An easy place to stay in Westport

Helen and Patrice are lovely hosts. So many wonderful choices at breakfast. We haven’t seen a breakfast menu like this anywhere else. Please don’t miss out on Helen’s delicious scones and Patrice’s omelettes.

You must have Patrices’ omelette for breakfast. Absolutely superb! We would recommend this accommodation to family and friends.

We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast and everything was very good. From the moment we arrived there was a friendly welcome and the breakfasts were fantastic with plenty of choice. Home made scones were on offer every morning!

Property was tucked away. So cute and clean. Only drawback was the water pressure was not great. Beds however were very comfy

The hosts were generous with their time and breakfasts (great homemade scones)! We loved staying for three nights in such a clean, quiet place run by patient, helpful, down-to-earth people.

Delightful B&B with fantastic breakfast

This b and b is run by a husband and wife. The wife is nice the husband isnt very bright. I paid in full when i arrived. But i had to leave early due to a allergy i had. I did not expect any money back as it was me leaving early. I explained to the husband my situation. bare in mind it was him that took my payment in the morning. Then he had the cheek to charge me full payment again there is wiser eating grass. I was told by the nice lady when i rang that i was getting a refund but still no money in my account

We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer! We were met with a friendly face and check in was super easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. But the best part of the stay was the breakfast! Everything freshly cooked and delicious. Homemade buttery scones were out of this world. Everyone went out of their way to take care of us. We will be back!

Wonderful place! The owners couldn’t be more accommodating. Delicious home cooked breakfast and very close to town. We stayed in their family room with 2 kids, it was perfect!

I was only at Woodside for one night, but was thoroughly delighted with my stay. The lodge is just a 10 minute walk into the town of Westport - which is an absolutely beautiful small town on Ireland's West Coast. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and the breakfast that Patrice and Helen prepared was absolutely fantastic - great hospitality! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this a landing spot in Westport.
