Concorde

The hotel was very close to the train station, was easy to find. The area was rough and lots of creepy men trying to talk to and touch me.

I have travelled to Rome before and stayed at MUCH better hotels at better prices. I have also travelled to Colombia, Turkey, Greece, Canada, etc. This is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. 1 - The hotel is on the 5th and 6th floor only, BUT the elevator only goes to the 5th, so you have to carry your luggage to the 6th floor. 2 - The bathroom sink does not drain. 3 - The floor in the room has never been cleaned or mopped. It was filthy and sticky. 4 - The walls in the room are dirty/scuffed and have not been painted in years. 5 - The TV in room is the size of iPad. 6 - There are many undesirable people outside of the hotel and it felt unsafe. 7 - No control for A/C unit. 8 - The pictures online are a false representation of what we experienced...

Overall, the best way to describe this property is you pay for what you get. I got yelled at upon arrival for ringing the buzzer an absurd amount of times which was understandable but I don't have the same buzzer back home, so I didn't understand the mechanism Once I climbed the 7 stories, I got yelled at by a very mad Italian man for 3 minutes ish, I thought he was about to swing to be honest. The area right outside of the hotel is a little sketchy. However, they are quick to open the front door for you, the moment you buzz in, once lol. One weird thing about the residents that had me a little worried was I had to give my key up every time that I left the building to the front desk, so I just hid all of my valuables whenever I had to leave the room, which was a bit worrying. Wi-Fi wasn't very good and I felt like it was exactly what I paid for it, which is around $90 If you're traveling alone on a budget, it's great. If you're with a family I wouldn't stay here. Don't let these things take away from the location, it was perfect Ideal location to rent an e-bike and to tour the entire city of Rome. Definitely would stay here again despite all of the inefficiencies with the check-in process and the yelling that I got from the front desk

I'll go through the pros and cons. Pros are location and the front desk personnel tried to be helpful. Cons, the stench that hits your nose when you walked in to where the elevator was smelled like an open sewer. Rooms were not cleaned, floor was never mopped but the beds were made everyday. Would not give us an extra sheet nor did they change the sheets until the 4th or 5th day. AC unit worked poorly. Shower was too small could not bend over to wash my legs without hitting my head on a wall. Breakfast was extremely limited.

The staff were super friendly and the hotel rooms were basic but very clean. The cleaning staff do an amazing job! They served a continental breakfast which was a nice way to start the day. The hotel is located half a block from Roma Termini station which is convenient for train travel but in a little “rough around the edges” area. But if you go two streets down you have incredible restaurants, gift shops and bakeries. I would happily stay here again.

Staff were nice, however, property is so dirty, you will get sick after one night, believe me. The soap was spit, there was no tissues, never go there ever, never, ever, never.

If you want to get mugged then this is your hotel. Your safe once you're inside but getting inside is dependent on pressing an intercom button and by the time they answer you've literally lost your mobile phone and wallet. Room was very basic and in poor condition. Staff were helpful in finding me a hospital to get my injured hand looked at after the mugging.

The heating in the room was not working; we did not have duvets, and we were provided only with a blanket. When we reported the problem to the reception, we were told engender will fix it for the second night but this did not happen. The receptionist claimed there was nothing wrong with the heating and disregard our claim. Unfortunately, at the time when we were in Tome it was 0 degrees outside and we had to sleep with clothes and use our coats for cover. Dreadful experience

Horrible bedroom and bathroom. No air conditioning so spent miserable 2 nights. They lie and tell you that the AC has been shut down by the city of Rome. We moved to another hotel and no problems whatsoever over there. Do not stay at this hotel Concorde in Rome. No soap in the bathroom either.

Not very welcoming on arrival, the older gentleman on reception that evening was neither happy, welcoming or polite. The day time reception team and housekeeping were great and friendly. It appears the night time reception staff were not wanting to be there,

The providers had a dog which we lent down to pat, but lunged and growled at us. Not a great welcome. There wasnt much option for breakfast, squash was to strong to drink, and staff member couldnt understand when trying to ask for teabags. Staff on the reception were friendly and helpful.

Great access to train station and key sites around Rome. Easy walk to Vatican, Colosseum etc.

Propensity located near all public transports you need to get around Rom. You can also walk to popular sites like Colosseums, Foro Romano, Trevi Fountain etc. Within 20 minutes walk. Try a Metro from Termini only a few stations to get to Vatican. Plenty of restaurants around to dine or grab a quick lunch. Area is safe though it didn’t look like at first impression, because it is near the train station. Getting here from or to airport is very convenient with bus or train. Staffs are very friendly and don’t skip the complimentary breakfast. Will stay here again every time we come here.

The location was perfect, a stone's throw from the station and walkable from all the main sites, only 20 mins from the Colosseum. The room was clean and the shower was good. The rooms are on 5th floor and there is one lift but it all works fineand wewould stay here again. Coffee and breakfast were also decent.

Very basic hotel, room badly in need of re-decorating. No fridge in room and tiny shower. Room was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Walking distance to train and bus station, supermarket and resturants.

Nice tidy room although the air con wasnt great, and had to be switched off when you left as you had to leave your keys at the front desk Also it is on the 6th floor! It has an old looking lift but wouldnt be great if you had large bags. Lovely cool shower for the heat when we were there Cute small balcony on the top floor for some fresh air in the morning Breakfast isnt the best but does the job, a few stale croissants and jam, coffee and 2 types of cereal, and banana yoghurts

We enjoyed our stay. Very close to the Termini station. Many nice restaurants in the area. Hotel staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Rooms are very small.
