What a great hotel! I stayed here on my honeymoon about two weeks ago and we loved the place. The staff is very welcoming and the history of the hotel (dating back to the 1200s) amazed us. We stayed there 3 nights and 2 of those we decided to dine there. You have to let the hotel know in advance (during that same day is fine) and the food was excellent. Carrot soup. Pasta, followed by peposo (one of my favorite dishes during my hotel trip) and raspberry mousse; all accompanied by the house wine of course. We recommend taking the hotel tour to learn more about the history of the hotel, it just takes about an hour. Know that this is a hotel mostly to relax with great views, there are some tourist spots around but the closest that we were recommended was about 20 minutes away. If we ever go back to the area, we'll definitely visit this hotel again.

Incredible place! My partner and I live in Rome and loved our one night stay at the convento. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the convento itself is an amazing historical treasure. It is such a special experience to spend a night here and explore the property. I highly recommend doing the tour of the convent and learning about its history. If you visit in the autumn/winter, it is also SO warm and cozy inside. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub were one of my favourite parts of our stay! We were told they use geothermal heating from the ancient volcano Monte Amiata, which is very unique in Italy. I’ve been to many places in Toscana and this area has to be my favourite.

Absolutely stunning property. The owners have maintained the integrity of the land and building impeccably. The owner in residence is knowledgeable, hospitable, and shows great passion for the property and all its glory. The amenities and breakfast brought an added bonus to an already wonderful experience! I look forward to returning on my next trip to Italy. Grazie Mille

Can't recommend this place enough! Beautiful location, great place to stop and relax for a few days. Recommend staying a few days so you can take full advantage. If you want, you can take all meals there (additional charge except for breakfast) so you don't have to leave the grounds.

The Convent was truly spectacular one of the most memorable hotel stays my wife and I have ever had, so rich with history it’s simply fascinating. We stayed for 5 nights with our 1 year old baby boy. Mariana and the team were hugely accommodating on all fronts. The food was delicious ( buenísimo ). The location of the convent offers the most incredible view of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside. We stayed in March and the swimming pool was as hot as a bath, our baby absolutely loved it, the heating comes from there geothermic system. The area once being an active volcano now there are hot springs all over the area. I believe the pool is cooler in the summer months, most necessarily for a more refreshing dip but they also have a beautiful wooden hot tub looking down the Tuscan valley which was very hot and perfect for sun downers. Overall I highly recommend the Convent and doing the tour with Mariana it was enlightening oh and their wine is fantastic of course made specially for them by a local vineyard.
