I was on crutches so needed accessibility of wheelchair. It met all those standards and more. It is a very nice hotel with a view of the mountains. Our bed was very comfy. Amazed by the breakfast staff who went out of their way to meet all our needs.

Excellent hotel. I have a gluten sensitivity and am also a diabetic on a blood sugar sensor. I am nearly impossible to feed. There were abundant gf options on the breakfast buffet, and I was also able to get a hot gf breakfast prepared for me. The omelets were delicious, and I could get a cappuccino every morning, all included. The wait staff was knowledgeable about gluten and kept me safe. I got a hot stone massage at the hotel spa. It was excellent, and inexpensive. In general, the hotel is beautiful, and architecturally interesting. My room was very comfortable, and the view from my room is in the hotel brochure. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice room. Very quiet. Good location in the old city. Staff was friendly and professional. Good spa treatments. Main complaint is that the food was terrible. Even the coffee was undrinkable. I expect more from a 5 star hotel. We tried room service one day and the toast was burnt, coffe stale, etc. But it's a good choice for a Palermo base camp if you go out to eat.

Regarding Hotel - very nice, awesome and courteous and very helpful - from doorman, to bellmen, front desk as well staff for the breakfast. Highly recommend for the quality stay in Palermo.

The experience was truly disappointing. The towels were worn and torn, and the hair dryer seemed extremely outdated—likely from decades ago. I’ve traveled to Europe over 15 times, and I’ve never stayed at a hotel that didn’t offer an espresso machine. Here, they only provided a basic coffee maker that boils water, and you’re expected to use instant coffee.
At breakfast, when I requested salt and pepper, they were provided in single-serve packets, which felt a bit underwhelming. The bathroom setup was inconvenient, with a bathtub and no fixed showerhead, only a handheld option.
Overall, I’d have to rate this hotel as one star.

Beautiful hotel in old stock exchange building, very convenient to explore historic Palermo on foot- just off the main pedestrian steet with lots of restaurants. Rooms are spacious and clean.
A few items lower my rating- there was no toilet paper in the room on arrival had to ask for them to provide. The room was freezing cold even with air conditioning turned off cold air came through vents - we had to open windows but had to close at night or it would be too noisy. Steer noise in evening but it got quiet by midnight. Also internet was not available in the room even though we made multiple attempts to log in- no signal- had to sit on a chair down the hallway or in lobby to get internet.

A big wonderful old building that was converted from a bank. My gripe is that traveling solo I was given the runt of the litter as rooms go. After complaining a lot - and the strength of the tour I joined - I was given a very nice room and would rank the hotel much higher if they hadn't played games with me to begin with. At the end of the tour, I returned to the hotel for one night and they tried to give me the same unacceptable room (323 or 332). I ended up with an OK room but the shower was so small, one had to squat to pick up shampoo... too small to bend over. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory. Dinner disappointing.

GHPB is a beautiful older hotel centrally located yet quiet. It has a beautiful courtyard with a fountain. The buffet breakfast has meat, cheese, oked fish and you can squeeze your own orange juice. One of my favorite hotels in the eorld.
