Hotel 99 Cannelle

Nice large room. Location was a little away from the town centre and about 1/2 km walk to get to it. Restaurant attached to the hotel was awesome and we enjoyed a magnificent steak cooked to perfection. Worth going there just for a steak dinner.

A little gem of a place, quiet nice area. Lovely staff. And the little restaurant that is connected is the only place to eat for steak, the best i have ever tasted..

We loved the actual property. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast was great.The location was interesting, right opposite 99 Cannelle which was something we most wanted to see. We weren't far from the historic center by car. Our only issue was finding the hotel since the road that every single navigation app guided us to was closed and many of the streets around the hotel were one way. Getting there to check-in and then again after we'd had dinner downtown were incredibly stressful. We forgot something at the hotel when we checked out and were extremely grateful that they called us to let us know and then stayed at the front desk past check out time for us to be able to drive back and retrieve what we'd left behind.

Very well located next to the famous 99 cannelle fountain and 1 km from the center. The two ladies managing the hotel are very kind and ready to help you. The reception has limited opening time but you can ask for assistance by phone

The hotel is on a quiet street, and across from a small park.50 yds from the Munda Museum. Very modern room and lobby, quaint bar with very nice murals and two walls of wine. The restaurant was closed but we were provided a wide variety of pastries and fresh coffee in the bar. The staff were extra helpful.

Hotel di fronte alla Fontana dell 99 Cannelle, piena di storia. Hotel recentissimo in stile antico, tutto perfetto: stanze funzionali e perfettamente pulite, personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile (tipiche qualita del popolo Abruzzese che adoro), colazione eccellente... Perfetto per visitare l'Aquila, il Gran Sasso, e piu generalmente l'Abruzzo. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie ancora

After a very long day of traveling beginning in France and ending in L’Aquila, we arrived about midnight, and the hotel person welcomed us warmly even though it was way past their checking in time. Our room was cozy and clean and had a small balcony and good sized bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, but our room was near the road, and it was a bit noisy at times. The hotel is located right below the main streets of the town and is a 20 minute walk to where most of the shops and restaurants are. We like to walk, so i it wasn’t an issue for us. They have a restaurant which we didn’t try, and the breakfast was bountiful with cereal, yoghurt, various breads and pastries plus sliced meats and cheeses. The espresso was delicious, as only Italian espresso can be. We were there for two nights and would happily stay there again.

A delightful and tranquil place to stay, situated just below the city’s mediaeval centre, next to the historic Fontana delle 99 Cannelle. The staff are charming and relaxed, the rooms are great and the hotel’s restaurant is excellent The cobbled terrace outside the hotel and restaurant is a perfect place to sit and relax and have an espresso or beer or eat dinner in the evening. I can’t recommend Hotel 99 Cannelle enough. (For some reason, all the pictures of the hotel on the web are taken at night - it looks just as beautiful in the day!) L’Aquila’s mediavel district is still being reconstructed following the 2009 earthquake (and will be for years and decades to come) but is slowly coming back to life. For now, the city lives and operates mainly on its periphery, which has been completely rebuilt, and in the beautiful surrounding countryside and hills,.

Absolutely first class. Very friendly and helpful staff and lovely owners. Lovely restaurant with excellent food. Quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Struttura molto bella, ma la posizione è un po' scomoda e si rischia di non riuscire a parcheggiare nelle vicinanze.

Incrivel, avisamos que sairíamos as 5h da manhã, e na noite anterior nos levaram um café da manhã, muito Obrigada!
