My partner and I booked the Double room with a private bathroom and it was excellent, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. We were also able to leave our bags with reception until we could check in which was great

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was walkable feom the train station with small luggage. The room was beautiful. The bus stop is close by, walking distance was good as well.

The location is amazing, walking distance front he terminal to The Academy, to the Doumo and much more.
The room is clean, and very organized. Got even get a beautiful view out of your window.
The bathroom is clean, you are supplied with toiletries and the towels are nice.

We had a room with a shower and a balcony - that was really a plus for us. No air con but the fan was a god send during the 35° summer. When we arrived the toilets werent stocked up with soap and paper towels and the reception often opened late and closed early. This, coupled with the overall dingy feel of the place were the worst things about it. However, Florence is expensive, and given what I stood to pay elsewhere, I am pretty happy about our stay here

Very nice old school style. Hardwood handmade furniture and an elevator from the 50's. If you want to escape the New World Order track, trace and database your every move, then this is the place.

For the price range of 45-60 usd. The hotel is very clean and located in quite convenient area.good for one or two nights stay . Down side is the rest room is located out side the room and the shower room is so tiny if you are weight more than 80 kg. Think twice.

We liked the fact that it was a short walk to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. The area was safe. There is a very good coffee shop with a lovely seating area in the back that we went to every day.
Excellent service by the man that runs the place. He was very helpful and even booked our tour for us.
We were a little concerned that there was a shower in the room and we opted for the shared bathroom but it the end it was totally fine. The shower has a cover so you can have a bit of privacy and there are 2 shared bathrooms (1 also has a shower).
I'd definitely recommend this place if you have a short stay in Florence. It's literally a 10 - 15 minute walk from the train station. I would recommend taking a taxi if you have loads of bags as the sidewalks are old and small so if it's busy it might be an issue. If you only have small bags then it's no issue at all.

The hotel was in a rather shabby building, and the hotel itself was quite dingy. However the staff were very friendly and helpful, and, although the room was in need of a bit of a face lift, it was clean and comfortable apart from the lack of air conditioning (though there was a fan).

Very nice! Made for a good time in Florence. We will have good memories. A very convenient hotel and helpful staff. I would return to this hotel again. we were given a tiny room without space for anything, unlike the nice spacious room the first few nights we stayed at the beginning of our trip. this room did not have soap in it probably because it dind't have a separate bathroom though it did have a sink. shared bathroom wasn't so nice. however, the owner was nice and very accomodating to our requests.

This is a 1 star hotel in Firenze. I reserved a room with air conditioning and a private washroom . It was clean, modern renovation , very nice washroom. Above expectation for a 1 star in Italy .
I attend the Pitti Uomo show and this hotel was ideally located and exactly if not better than advertised.
No frills as expected and better.
