The staff was the best quality of the hotel. The rooms were beautiful and well appointed. The location was perfect. The breakfasts were plentiful. This was the best hotel stay in our 7 weeks in Italy including our 6 hotels. We would definitely stay there again!

Staff were very welcoming and helpful, room was comfortable and nicely decorated, bed was comfy, toiletries were really good. Lots of restaurants nearby. Parking was onsite which was really helpful. Breakfast was varied and good.

Great location and easy to get to Portofino with a few minute walk to the ferry. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel room was rather tired and the price very high although the sea view was lovely.
The staff were very friendly but there was no assistance for carrying luggage (not that we needed it.)
Hotel parking is very limited but there’s a car park opposite which the hotel prepaid at a cost of €20 - added to the bill.
The hotel is very close to the seafront and shops.

We had a wonderful stay. We were quite lucky and had a room with an outdoor patio and balcony with a spectacular view. The hotel itself is rather vintage. I think it was built in 1903. There were some exterior areas that need some tender loving care but it did not detract. The air conditioning was just OK; it was cool enough. Overall, the experience was totally amazing, especially the friendly front desk staff, I would rate the service 10 star if I could. The immediate surrounding area had interesting shops, and multiple restaurants with a water view. We were about a seven minute walk from the train station and about a five minute walk to the passenger ferry terminal.

The lobby staff were excellent, knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. Although Our room had AC it was a struggle to keep it comfortably cool. The tv didn’t work but we used out phones for watching shows. The car traffic and pedestrian traffic was insanely busy. We would stay in Santa Margherita next time ! Very low key and much more tranquil

Really friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied, comfort of room second to none, water topped up regularly, location within minutes of everything. Room 403 overlooks the beach/seafront. There is a certain quirkiness to the place which we loved
