The location couldn’t be any better! It’s right outside of Genova Piazza Principe train station which makes it very convenient to travel from one city to the other by train while we were on vacation. It’s also within walking distance to the tourist attractions. The hotel lounge is beautifully decorated in Christmas theme and the hotel is full of old world charm but very clean and updated at the same time. I definitely will stay here again if I come back to Genova for a visit.

Breakfast was a great option. The room was spacious and comfortable. The elevator was an old-timey Otis elevator which only held a small family or 6 people. It serviced all 5 floors, so there was usually a wait in the mornings and afternoon.
The location was great - right across from a main bus and railroad station; and the Metro station was a 5 minute walk away.

This was our second stay, and once again the staff are the shine atop an already exceptional property. There was a mix up with the Expedia booking but we weren’t even aware because the gentleman at the desk immediately called the desk at the attached sister hotel, The Savoy, and we were upgraded into a room there. Rooms in both hotels are beautifully appointed and maintained with all of the gorgeous charm we love in Italy. The Savoy had a few more room perks such as a soaker tub with bath salts and a lit shaving/make up mirror. Highly recommended both properties.

Exceptional welcoming staff in our hotel (though sister hotel with shared amenities not so much!). Area is walkable to Old Genia with cool brick streets, shops and cafes, also old port, new port, and is right across from train station.

Stayed one night, was upgraded to Savoy, sister hotel next door. A beautifully appointed hotel, and literally 5 min walk to train station. Excellent breakfast. Clean, safe, wonderful staff. Will def be back. 10/10
