We loved our stay at hotel Paradiso! Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend! The staff were so friendly and truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The lake view from the room is amazing, and the sauna/jacuzzi/pool is so beautiful. Very comfortable bed and nice sized rooms. Dinner at the hotel restaurant (mama Gina) was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area. The one thing I will say is the location is not very convenient (expected since it's on the top of a steep hill) - however the hotel was very helpful with this. They picked us up from the top of the funicular when we checked in, provided bus tickets (2.50 euros per person) to get down to Como in the daytime, and booked a taxi/transportation for us to get to the train station when we had to check out early. They were very responsive on WhatsApp and helpful with anything we needed! We love hotel Paradiso! :)

Outstanding view!! But really isolated and if it’s raining and between 11:00am-4:00pm, you’ll have to walk a mile to the funicular. Mama Gina’s food is excellent. Nice room. Friendly staff, but I believe the lady we had at the desk was new.

DIFFICULT LOCATION , BUT EXCEPTIONAL VIEWS

Wow!! This hotel is a hidden gem. The staff was incredible, the food was delicious, and the view is truly the best in Lake Como. It’s a must stay!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The view from the restaurant and lake view rooms is unbeatable. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. One note that I don’t think was mentioned is you have to either set up a shuttle with them when you arrive or take a taxi to the cable car and take the cable car up the mountain. From the cable car station to the hotel is about a 30 minute walk or you can use the shuttle for an extra charge. But it is well worth the view.

The hotel wasn’t the cleanest. There were two dead bugs in the room. Biggest issue, the hotel has advertised that they have a 24/7 front desk. But they don’t. Their front desk closes at 10pm. The hotel has refused to provide any genuine reason for this or offer even a partial refund / compensation about this according to hotels.com. One main reason for me booking the hotel was the 24/7 front desk so really very disappointed Breakfast was really bad. They have no vegan options at all. They give you two absolutely tiny crossaints and dry bun. The rest you have to order from the menu. So I ordered toast with scrambled egg. They gave me a corner of a toast. It wasn’t even a full slice of toast. Even then the corner was very over cooked. On our last day, we asked for some extra crossaints and the lady said she has to go speak to her manager about this. She brought the crossaints but I felt so uncomfortable asking for more because of that There is no AC in the room and there is no room temperature control. The temperature fluctuates with the temperature outside. We asked to borrow a fan for an hour the lady said I will go ask my manager and never got back to us on this. The walls are very thin, if you stand in the bathroom you can hear all the conversations from the room next door. if you want the view just go to brunate during the day. The hotel also doesn’t respond to emails at all. I would at least like them respond / give me some support.

Incredible stay at Hotel Paradiso. All staff are very welcoming and ensure that you have everything you need to make you stay most enjoyable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone, espcially those who look a good hike! Make sure you plan your days ahead is one thing I suggest
