Perfect location for exploring the Quadrilatero area with easy access to most attractions. Attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Excellent value for the location.

It’s my second stay at this hotel and I love it. It’s very traditionally Italian so don’t expect sleek and modern. But that’s how I like my hotels in Italy. The location is perfect - right in the historical centre and literally seconds away from great bars and restaurants and all the main sights in Bologna centre. The buffet breakfast is great and the staff really helpful.

Excellent hotel. Old (as to be expected), but very clean and comfortable. Great service. Great location, with excellent shopping and dining all around. Would def return. easy (although limited) onsite parking.

Hotel is an old building that retains grand staircase and furniture in common areas. Polite helpful staff. Breakfast buffet adequate. Very good lunch. Location is perfect with heart of Bologna in walking distance.

, they were very rude. We had an emergency situation to deal with. We had to leave to come home for a hurricane, we didn’t step 1 foot in their hotel. They said they wouldn’t charge us and they charged us $527. Very bad

Close to everything you can wish for. The buffet breakfast has incredible delicious range. The room is very quirky. Shower cubicle is small but everything is clean. No mouldy smell. I have a window which i can open. High ceiling does not made the room closed in.

Very typical Italian city hotel with quite basic and dated furniture and bathroom, but spotlessly clean. The staff were on hand for a very late arrival at 2:00am following flight delays and were very helpful

Did not like the fact that they take your passport and enter it into some type of software without explaining the need to do so. This infor Can be easily hacked by a malicious third party and used for identity theft. Unsure why this is done

This is a gem and the door step is right at the dome .. my option for room had a balcony which allowed for some clothes drying. The staff was awesome.
The critiques:
- the mattress was unevenly worn and hurt my back
- the shoe drain was clogged so you are standing in soupy pool
- the fenreeze like spray was very excessive and I had to discard decorative pillows and shield head board with a sheet .. eye and lung irritant levels were harsh
I like this place but these thing are hard to notice unless you actuall sleep there so the staff did not know

Great location, reasonably clean, but no mirror in the room- only on top of the sink (we had a room for 3 girls - nightmare to get ready/do hsir an makeup). Breakfast very basic, but enough to get you going. Bad coffee. On the side - you can drop off the car and they will park it in garage. Staff at reception very nice
