Listed as a 4 star hotel but it’s closer to 2.5 stars. No amenities in the room, not even a free bottle of water or a kettle. Coffee/ tea always had to be purchased at the bar. No lunch offering, not even a vending machine. It’s an area where the majority of the restaurants and cafes close in the afternoon which left no options for lunch but to head to the local Spar supermarket to buy sandwiches or you’ll need to plan to have lunch before everything closes. The staff were very friendly but it didn’t make up for the lack of options available in the hotel or the surrounding areas.

The area around the hotel is nice the swimming pool gives a charm to the place which has been cleverly built. It feels slightly dated but i have seen way worse, so it didn't feel bad. Some pieces of furniture would though need some repair (rusted tower hanger, wood in the bathroom was quite damaged by time...). Balcony was nice, but furniture had a disgusting smell of cold tobacco so wasn't really enjoyable... Room was good. Again dated, difficult to find some electricity to charge the phone (in the 1990s those issues didn't exist) but after unplugging the bedside table all fine. The breakfast wasn't good... Dry cakes, tasteless croissants, etc which is to be expected in a hotel. I had paid extra for the dinner at the hotel and do not do it ! You might have your money worth for the quantity (as it is a buffet) but quality is not there. So pay less, go outside and get some proper food, it is italy you have plenty of choice around, don't do that to yourself ! It is outside of Cagliari but well connected to transportation and in a nice environment. The hotel gets 4 stars despite the critics as it is also cheaper than most around. So it is definitely a good ratio price/quality if you do not eat there. If you eat there, the hotel is way overpriced for the quality !

quiet and nice

It was literally booked on the way driving down from Bosa to Calgiari since we had cancelled another. The hotel was unexpectedly beautiful, with huge pool, peaceful, surrounded by nature, lagoon and offering top quality food and rooms. Parking on the surrounding grounds free and always available. Last but not least to the most polite and very competent English speaking (multi-lingual) staff always ready to be of assistance.

My husband and I really liked this hotel. It was really close to the beach but whenever we wanted something more relaxing went to the pool at the hotel. You can visit Cagliari really easily on a bus. The staff is really friendly and told us where to eat close to the hotel, we recommend Maddalena.

We both really liked the ability to relax around the garden and pool area, around 15 mins each way by bus into Cagliari but well worth it if you enjoy outside space. Also the hotel restaurant evening meal and staff all very good. Suitable for families with young children would also enjoy this hotel. Ken and Annie Lovell UK

The customer service was decent and the was ok the linen and towels were stained. The location was in a residential area.

Good Hotel, very good reception, good restaurant, but need more staff. Not good position. Terrible maintenance: safe and hairdryer not working, I reported several times but they could not care less.

Nice hotel converted from former self cataring residential complex. quite location, good value for money, helping & friendly staff.

Very nice hotel except the location was not what we expected from the adverts. It gave the impression of being closer to the beach than it actually was. Otherwise, good service, friendly & helpful staff, perhaps improvement in the cleaning of the bathroom.

A nice hotel. Not much going on in the area but the facilities made up for it.

The hotel is an oasis in a cultural desert. The hotel is wonderful, staff are wonderful but you DO need a car to get out and about. The hotel could do with a few things to keep everybody occupied apart from sunbathing and the lovely pool, maybe a boules area, table tennis, something like that but overall as I say it is a lovely hotel.

On arrival the hotel looked good, and was easy to locate. As we booked in, the man on reception was very welcoming, helpful,and polite . We were upgraded to a bigger room which was a bonus. The room was a good size, loads of wardrobe space( though a few more hangers would have been handy but you could ask for more). Bathroom was big and well equipped, whole lot was really clean.Bed was very comfortable and the air-con worked perfectly. I did request another pillow, and this was brought to the room within minutes. There was also a fridge which was handy. Only downside was only 1 plug socket that we could use to charge our phones etc. Breakfast is over a good time period, from 7am till 10.30am which was great, and for a continental style there really was a good choice of food. Gardens beautiful, pool good, towels for pool from reception a nice touch, as is the free chilled water outside. we never ate lunch or dinner in the hotel so cannot comment on that aspect. All in all I was very pleased with the hotel, if you can live with the fact that the general area around it is fairly industrial, and not many eating places within walking distance, it is fine... very quiet and tranquil. We mostly drove into Cagliari to eat in the evening. Car parking was free and plenty of it aswell.
