Il Tosco is a beautiful Tuscan manor with four rooms. Guests have access to the primary room and the kitchen. They had a complimentary mini bar and various things to eat at all times.
Breakfast in the morning is homemade with a few main dishes, as well as a large assortment of fresh foods to choose in addition. We were made coffee and cappuccinos each morning when we woke up.
From the warm service, to the charming rooms, beautiful views, and just overall experience; Il Tosco is a special place with special people running it. We loved it.

Words cannot describe the feeling you get staying in this gorgeous, historic treasure.
The common area is perfection- from the furnishings to the amazing light fixture over the dining table. Our room was very well appointed with the most comfortable bed & linens. A very beautiful & modern bathroom too! Elena was an excellent host guiding us to the best local restaurants- she knows what’s good! Wait! The cherry on top was the incredible breakfast spread- the best one during our entire trip in Italy. So delicious!!!! We cannot wait to return next year! Grazie Elena :)

Nicest B&B we have stayed in during our extensive travels around the world! Elena is such a welcoming host. The room we stayed in was incredible, with high ceilings, the comfiest bed ever, rustic decoration, views of the countryside and a luxurious bathroom the size of a NYC apartment (including a jacuzzi tub). The breakfast was a decadent spread of homemade baked goods, fresh eggs, fruits, and delicious coffee. We especially loved having access to the kitchen whenever we wanted to sample Elena’a mother’s freshly baked cakes and pies :) if you are In Montepulciano you MUST stay here.

Many hotels have nice beds or a grand view. But it is rare that a boutique hotel can so perfectly preform everyone of the smallest details to such a high level of perfection. Everything you could possibly want or need is at your fingertips. Especially of note was the detail to food… Everything is made in house from scratch and even though we were there during the lowest of low season each morning our breakfast was prepared as if it was a full house. More importantly as international visitors with schedule oddities and jet lag, we were always able to get a snack of the highest quality and a coffee even at 3am in the self service kitchen.
The hotel is located in a great old building with a commanding view of the scenery below Montepulciano. Many great restaurants nearby and great free parking just down the street. Couldn’t be happier with our choice of Il Tosco!

My wife and I stayed at Il Tosco for two nights as part of our honeymoon in October. We couldn't have been more pleased with the property and would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling to Montepulicano. We had the "modern" Superior Room Poliziano which was a corner room with beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside. Elena was great and very helpful in securing us a hard-to-get reservation for a tour/tasting at a winery in town. We would definitely consider staying there again on our next visit.
