La Scogliera

This place is a TRUE GEM! Our favorite hotel we stayed at during our 2-week trip to Italy by far. First and foremost, the staff is just incredible. Every single person we interacted with was warm, kind, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Franco, Ciro, and Marcella came to feel like friends were were excited to see each day. The property is beautiful, spacious, and breezy, with gorgeous landscaping. We sprung for a room with a partial sea view and couldn't have been happier. We'd read in a couple reviews that the hotel felt a bit dated, but we didn't feel that way at all. It has an old-school charm, in a good way. The pool and thermal pool were pristine and lovely, as was the deck with lounge chairs overlooking the ocean. Before we booked Hotel La Scogliera, we were debating whether to stay in Ischia Porto or Forio and we were so glad we chose Forio. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this side of the island is the place to be. The nearby beach, which is just a few minutes' walk, is gorgeous and a great place to spend a day. We had a magical time here and look forward to returning someday!

What a find! Our stay at La Scogliera exceeded expectations! I visited with my mother, and we were made to feel welcome and looked after throughout our stay. The airport transfer (private car, hydrofoil, minibus) made for a smooth arrival. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and available to support with any query we had, from directions, to spa (lovely massages) or restaurant reservations, or room queries - excellent service throughout - especially Gaetano! The room was spacious with a sea view, very clean, peaceful. The hotel has three mineral swimming pools -two thermal pools, and it is just a short walk to a public beach if you prefer the sea. We enjoyed aperitivo on the terrace overlooking the sea. The onsite restaurant is great, with varied daily menus featuring local cuisine. It's about 15mins walk into Forio town, very pretty, with a great range of restaurants, bars, and shops. My mother is already planning her return! Grazie mille to the La Scogliera family!

Very nice hotel and excellent customer service. Restaurant and bar staff were very good as were the front desk staff. Rooms were nice. Outdoor lobby area was great as was pool area. Minor things WiFi was not great in the room and there was a small gap in one patio door window. Not sure how it compares to other four star hotels but it was very nice.

Fantastic location. Excellent service at reception (Gaetano 🥰), at breakfast, the bar, the beautician...perfect. Rooms need to be modernised a bit.

The staff were charming and helpful , they did everything to make the holiday a really wonderful experience .. tthe bed was comfortable and the cleaners most helpful it was cleaned every day and clean towels if required , more than enough food with a very good choice and I am gluten free , which was never a problem ,, I would be very happy to take all my family there next year ,,, thank you
