A hidden gem. We loved our stay here and be sure to eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was amazing! The customer service was spectacular.

This is a gem of a spot. Stay here if you can get in.

Beautiful grounds with unique rooms and features. The rooms are small but have everything you need and the front desk does their absolute best to accommodate. Excellent food and gelato within a 5 minute walk in an extremely quiet and quaint neighborhood. A quick 20 minute bus ride to the Rome Metro station and another 20 minute train to Rome. Come here if you want to be close to Rome but not IN Rome! Bed is on the firmer side but very comfortable. Only complaint was air conditioning (cooling) was not available due to the whole hotel being on the winter system. Seems like only heating or only cooling is available - however this is common to older hotels in Rome. Wifi was very poor but not an huge issue. Overall had a great stay!!

After checking in and seeing our room, we discovered that it was not the demi-suite we booked and that the air conditioning in the hotel was not functional. When I addressed our concerns to the front desk, they offered us another room on the first floor which was slightly cooler but still had no AC and still extremely warm. It was also smaller than the room we booked. We decided to leave and booked a room elsewhere. I felt like we were being taken advantage of as American tourists.

Love this beautiful hotel. It is a quaint and quiet neighborhood. The attached restaurant was amazing. We sat on their patio, but the actual restaurant was also beautiful. The food and wine were delicious. The breakfast in the morning was great. Easy taxi ride to the airport. Very helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and without a doubt would stay here again.

Very nice staff, clean and was quiet

Incredible place to stay. It has a retreat feel with outstanding accommodations, food, and Italian authenticity. Floridians needing the AC cooler greatly appreciated the willingness to override the preset temp of 25 degrees C. Awesome value!

We chose this hotel, based on its excellent reviews… We were not disappointed! This hotel is the most charming place and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there both before and after taking a cruise. The pictures are all accurate. The breakfast is wonderful! We stayed a total of four nights and loved it. I highly recommend this little out of the way gem!

Truly an authentic place to stay. Will return, not for vegetarians or vegans as meat focused. Lovely touches, fresh flowers, pure linen on the bed and welcoming staff. Could not have been better.

This is a small fabulous hotel close to Ciampino airport. For our last night l, I wanted one more taste of Italy - this is a winner. The hotel is exposed beams, charming details and genuine Italian people. The restaurant next door was the surprise, incredible food and an old wine cellar converted to a fabulous taverna. Wine by the pitcher and portions that are large by American measures. It was an incredible last evening in Italy.

Pretty hotel with an excellent restaurant popular with locals. Pasta and meat dishes were terrific. Free parking, nice town next to Frascati. Easy train ride into central Rome. The regular room is small but comfortable. Internet service was horrible while we were there.

Run, don’t walk if you have an opportunity to stay at Locanda Della Spuntino. Beautiful decor, super comfortable bed, great amenities, real charm, a fine restaurant, a delicious breakfast, close proximity to Castle Gondolfo, Palestrina, Hadrian’s Villa and Tivoli, these are all good reasons to stay here, but the best reason is the really lovely people who run it. A plus accommodations. I can’t say enough good things.

We arrived during a thunderstorm, and were immediately welcomed and cared for by the staff. Our room and bathroom were a sanctuary from the storm, "Have a shower and relax and then come down for dinner". The dinner at the Taverna was like reliving some astonishing meals in Europe 35 years ago. And the hotel breakfast the next morning more than made up for all the meager breakfasts we've been served recently. Superb!
