Palazzo Lorenzo is a great place to stay in Florence. It’s a 20 minute walk into the city centre with easy access to the bus and tram network.
The rooms are great and the breakfast is ver y good.

The hotel staff was amazing, breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel is conveniently situated in the city center, easy stroll to the Duomo, Cathedral, and Ponte Vecchio. Many museums nearby as well. Nit to be missed Galleria dell'Academia ti see Michelangelo's David and ither exquisite Renaissance art works.

This was a sweet place, more of a 3 star, than 4 star. Room was good, lots of sounds, not great room insulation, but you are staying in an historic building. Breakfast was awesome and staff was VERY kind and accommodating. It was a bit of a walk to the Duomo (about 25 minutes), I love walking so not an issue for me. It's in a very residential area right on the tram path, so can be convenient for some.

We liked the kindness of the staff and the quality of the service. Did not like the tiny room, the ridiculously tiny shower cabin, the smells (due to old and bad plumbing). Hotel is borderline far from the tourist interest points. I wish Michele Ugliani took a shower in this hotel before he asks people to believe this is a 4 star hotel. It is a 3 star at best.

The use of spa requires appointment and gym is basically a fitness room with little equipment/weights to offer. At least a bench and larger weights is a must development

well laid out. All of the fixtures, design, and furnishings are of high quality. The front desk staff is very nice, helpful, and speak good English if you dont speak Italian. The breakfast has a lot of variety, and the breakfast wait staff are very pleasant and helpful.
The location is not ideal if you want to be right in the middle of bars, restaurants, other tourists, and tourist sites. However, the main shopping area and tourist sights are about a 20 minute walk away. I did find a bistro within a 3-5 minute walk that served food until midnight on a Saturday, Deposito Bagagli Bistró.
The hotel is also a quick taxi or Uber ride to and from the train station.
I would stay again.

Great hotel! We were a little uncomfortable at breakfast because the staff working the breakfast was staring at us the entire time we ate. We were unsure if something was wrong with us but it was awkward. This only happened one day out of our two day stay. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked into the building we were welcomed by all staff and felt like VIP guests. All the staff were very professional and made this hotel feel like a luxury hotel.
The private spa was so lovely and relaxing, we wish we could have used it more than once! The breakfast also had a great selection and we were very pleased with it. The property is very clean and very well-maintained, making it a really comfortable stay.
The hotel is a little outside the main area of the town, which makes it a very quiet area. But everything is very walkable, and we only walked the entire time we were there.
We would definitely return to this hotel if we visited Florence again!
