I stayed at this property for a short holiday. Upon our arrival, there were 5 of us with a double room and 1 triple room, we were greeted by a very kind lady.
The structure, in the part where we are welcomed, seems really nice, not so the clearly neglected rooms, poor cleanliness and one of the rooms was full of ants.
The worst is yet to come, apparently beautiful swimming pool with generous dimensions but in a pitiful state, mosaic tiles falling off everywhere, the only positive note is the garden.
The structure has no restaurant so, upon returning from dinner, we discover that the remaining rooms, we were told that the resort is fully booked, there are only policemen and we received confirmation at breakfast which was served to us in a nice place and it was sufficient in terms of quantity and truth of the sweet food, salty almost absent but this is quite frequent in Sicily.
In the evening, upon our return and after having noticed that they hadn't come to make the rooms or change the towels, we had the feeling of being the only guests, this was confirmed to us the following morning by the lady who served us breakfast, a very kind and helpful person. exquisite.
Upon returning after a day on an excursion, we discover that the swimming pool has suddenly emptied and that no other guests are present,
I leave you to imagine what thoughts might go through the mind of someone who finds themselves lost in the middle of nowhere and without any reference.....!
Fortunately and, perhaps, belatedly, we were offered the opportunity to spend the last 2 nights in one of their facilities a few kilometers away, we welcomed this opportunity with great pleasure and immediately moved to the new higher level resort with other guests present, with the common areas and the rooms in excellent condition, beautiful rooms, wonderful swimming pool, very kind staff, good breakfast, in short, a whole other holiday.
I believe it is more honest to close Villa Teresa while waiting to renovate and make a place with great potential but completely forgotten livable and welcoming.
