Recommended for those who think "hot springs are price and scenery" (though it's not a hot spring because it's tap water)
Although it's not a hot spring, it's nice to be able to enter a public bath for just 500 yen these days. Park in front of the city station for free and take a bath with a view. It's a rare situation.
The view of the Echigo Plain through the window on the 10th floor while soaking in the bathtub is also special. Although there is only an indoor bath, it offers a nice scenery for a relaxing bath. People often complain that the water pressure in the shower is weak, but I don't think it's a big deal. In fact, I was more concerned about the shampoo's "almost strange smell" that smelled like a hospital. A commercially available regular one is fine. The sauna seems to start from 4pm, so you can adjust the time depending on your preference. You can see the Shinkansen tracks below, so if you time it right, it's perfect for iron lovers.
Speaking of greed, it would be helpful if there was a clock in the bathroom. I didn't feel anxious because we had arranged to meet up at a certain time.
The cityscape and the mountains across the plains are beautiful views every season.
It was a nice bath. thank you very much.
